Palm Harbor Homes - General Manager ripoff is a lying thief Will do whatever it takes to make a life changing experience miserable Lexington South Carolina

May 2006 my future husband and I started the process of buying a Palm Harbor mod home. Promises were made to us that our home would be ready to move into by late October, the month of our wedding.

After months of not being able to contact anyone at the Lexington center our home was finally delivered the day before our wedding. Our project manager asked us to meet him at our property the day it was set. Which was to be Monday, 2 days after our wedding, while we were on our honeymoon. We returned after 2 days away for the setting of our house only to find that the only people there were 3 operators from the crane company. NO representative from Palm Harbor was present.

Since that time it took 4 more months till we were 'allowed' to move in. Now 4 1/2 months after that we still have many issue unresolved such as a cracked shower than leaks, Hardi Plank that hasn't been caulked outside, no grass, no backfill, and the company still owes me, as the homeowner, over $3000.00 for charges for a dumpster, porta potty and flat wall/crown molding that was received but NOT ordered by my husband and I. A refund was promised at closing, since it was added into our mortgage loan. 100's of calls have been made to corporate and now we are in the process of proving our claim with corporate offices of Palm Harbor Homes.

I have no complaints about my home structure. We love the house but DO NOT purchase a Palm Harbor Home from the Lexington SC location! Run as fast and as far away as you can. The general manager is a creep. He is crooked and a theif!! It has been 13 months since we first walked into their sales center and I would give anything to go back in time and not do that again! There are many other problems past, present and I am sure future that could be listed. This is just a general overview.
