It happend to me too! I've read all the reports on "Patent and Trademark Institute of America" and the exact same thing happend to me.

I speak with a sleezy salesman named Charles West, but that's obviously not even his real name. He tells me I have a great idea and I must send him money right away in order to get my invention on the market. So I send him $1000 for the patent search, $2000 for the trademark and $9000 for the provisional application for the patent. Where is the company now?! Dissappeared, they've gone under with all their clients money, basically they're up hundreds of thousands of dollars.
