Because you owe a debt. You being unemployeed is not their concern. You took a loan and now its due. If you dont get a job and start making payments then they will do whatever they can to collect on the debt you agreed to. Its not their fault your life plan didnt work as you expected. Every person  who takes a loan and doesnt pay it back due to life always whine when it comes due. Grow up this is life. You needed that money when you needed it and got it in a timely manner im sure. Why is it now when the same is asked of you, you feel its so terrible that they want their money? They will use any and all ways they have and each one will end up making the whole debt go up due to processing fees. Eventually they will sell this debt to another collection company and every effort they made will now be added on. Putting you that much deeper in the hole. So keep up the whining and deflecting the responsibility and it will only get worse. Or go find a job and set up a payment plan and act like a responsible adult. There are plenty of jobs out there go find one and do it. Security guards are just normal ppl like yourself who get paid to watch a area. Pay is better then nothing normally minimum wage. That way you can pay bills while looking for the job you want.
