Petrie Auto Sales Scam Fort Worth Nationwide

Petrie Auto Sales is a rip off. I purchased a 2005 Chrysler 300 for 11,000.00. After finance the car totaled to 24,000.00. It was going to take me 5 years to pay off a vehicle that was 10 years old. My insurance on tge car overlasped due to personal issues. As soon as it did I received a phone call stating that I jad 20 minutes to reinstate my full coverage and provide proof because they are closing for the day 

While on the phone with the my husband was at Petrie Auto Sales to make my car payment that was due. He called me and said they will not except a car payment until my insurance was reinstated where I purchased it. 

I couldnt believe they would not take my payment. They said per my contract I must maintain insurance coverage. I told them okay it just expired and I wont have any money for a couple of days to pay for my insurance. The lady on the phone said again well we are not accepting your car payment until you put insurance on the car and you have 20 minutes before I live to provide proof.

Impossible right. I  was going to find away the next day to reinstate my insurance coverage but when I woke it my car was repoed. I had to call in work to wait on the office to open to see what happened. They stated that I need to pay the car payment that was due the day before (that they would not take) get full coverage insurance on the car plus $350 for the repo fee. 

I am very displeased with this company. The lady in the office over talked me anytime I said a word. On top of this all I payed 1500 down, made the car payments for 2 months and was not behind and they did that. 

I was not the only customer up there that day that was there fot the same exact thing. Atleast 5 people who all purchased their car inless than 2 months was done just like me.
