Purchased 2 reman Audi A8 Quattro trans from Phoenix Trans. Both have been nothing other than trouble. Trans #1 was out twice, both time for leaks. Trans #2 has been in and out 4 times. So far have hot been reimbursed for warranty times and talked to Frank, I believe the owner, who basically said "we own it".
Last time out, they had us ship it to a shop in Colorado Springs for repair, put it back in, still leaks. Then Phoenix hasn't paid the shop in the Springs.
TO ALL REPAIR SHOPS, BEWARE OF THESE GUYS, USE (competitor's names deleted - see below) or ANYBODY ELSE!!!!!

The complaint against Phoenix Transmission, lodged by us November of 2005 was resolved to our satisfaction. The transmission was repaired correctly and costs incurred by us were reimbursed. Subsequently another Audi transmission was obtained from Phoenix Transmissions, in March of 06, and it has performed satisfactorily since installation. Phoenix transmission was courteous and prompt once the actual malfunction was established.
