I have had the pitney bowes meter about a month then I receive a $105.78 bill in the mail. I was not going to pay for something I didn't use. So, I called Pitney Bowes customer service and I told them that I no longer wanted their services.

I didn't use any of the funds. So, they cancel my account and said that I should receive a box in the mail to return the meter to them. To this day I haven't seen a box come to my address.

I waited a week for them to send a box but I didn't receive one. I called their customer service and told them I didn't receive a box so I can return their meter and explain to them that I didn't use any of their funds. She told me to wait a little bit longer to receive a box and that when it is return that they will check to see if I use any funds then I wouldn't be charge.

I have not receive a box yet. I waited another week and I received another bill. So, I called customer service again. I told them about the situation again. The customer service representative is yelling at me during this time.

I tell her to calm down and she tells me that she wasn't yelling at me. It was my imagination. I told her that she need to admit that she was yelling at me.

Right now, I am mad. I wanted to know why they are still sending me a bill. It is suppose to be canceled.

She said that I took $100.00 off and I only took $40. Plus, I never use the funds. I ask her for an address so I can return the meter back to them.

She told me she doesn't have the address. I told her I am not paying this bill because I never use the funds. Now, the bill is $135.77.

Before you can return the meter you have to transfer funds to the original postage source. I didn't read where I had to do that but I this disassembled it. I told her that I was going to write a review and I am not kinding with them. Now, I am going to reassemble the machine back and I am going to return their funds back to the postage meter.

Diffculty in Paying

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Friday, June 03, 2016

On June 3, 2016;

I called back to see if the postage meter was located in their business. The customer service representative was really nice and attentive to my needs. He followed up on the meter and it arrived at their place of business.

He saw that it was located there in his database. Then I called back to pay my bill from a different number. I talked to a representative that was rude and did not want to listen to what I was saying.

I told them that I receive the bill for $95.77 and that they haven't received this amount in 45 days and it is past due. I told him that I received the bill for $95.77 yesterday. But the guy said that I owe $125.76.

He started to argue with me about the amount. If he would have listen I said that I would pay the $125.76 amount but he didn't so I got tired of dealing with him. I said that I wanted to talk to his suprevisor and he didn't even allow me to talk to his suprevisor.

I hung up on him and I called back so I can get someone else. I talked to the other customer service representative and told them that I would pay the $125.76. I ask if I could pay by credit card he told me no (I forget what the reason was).

He told me that they only go through my bank account. So they needed my routing number and account number. So, I gave them my routing and accounting number.

I paid the amount so I don't owe them anymore. Their original address is : ****** *****, **** ****** ******, Neenah, WI 54956-1005. Their number is: 1-***-***-****.

This the correct address and phone number not the one I originally put up in the beginning.

Update on Pitney Bowes

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Monday, May 23, 2016

Good Afternoon all:

I just want to give an update on the Pitney Bowes situation. I called Pitney Bowes, April 25, 2016, ( I am not too sure about the date), about returning the meter to them. This customer service representative was very polite and courteous.

I told them the situation and she said that they already got the meter. I guess that they assume since the money came back to them on the postage meter that it was already returned to them.  I told them that they didn't have the postage meter and I still have it.

She ask for the ID number and other information. I gave her the information and she said that she will send a paid postage sticker to my address. In a couple of days I received the paid postage sticker and sent it off on the weekend.

Today, May 23, 2016, I called to see if they received the postage meter and I wanted to know why I was still receiving a bill. The representative told me that she would check to see if they received the postage meter. She told me they didn't and that it would take three weeks for them to receive the meter.

Then she proceeds to connect me to the rental department so that I talk to them about the amount that they say I owe. I told her that I got this from Vista Print by ordering a website from Vista Print. I then proceed to tell the representative that I talked to another representative, before I got the meter, about the number of postage that I mail but we didn't talk about me renting a postage meter.

So, I didn't know that I was renting a postage meter. I talked to the representative and she told me that it was a verbal agreement and that constitutes as a legal agreement. I told them that I am going to pay them but I will never do business with them again.
