Play It Again Sports ripoff and the worst customer service Bismarck North Dakota

I consigned an item at Play It Again Sports in Bismarck in March. Since I live over 100 miles away, they agreed to send me a check when the item sold, I wouldn't have to drive all the way there to pick up my money. I called them on the 22nd of March and found out my item had sold and they said they'd send me a check.

On April 6 I called in to see where my check was and they said they were out of check blanks but they'd send one soon. On April 14 I called again and was told the owners weren't in, I'd need to talk to one of them, they'd be in next week. On April 24 I called back in and was told the check had been sent earlier in the week. On April 25 I get a money order that isn't signed so I can't cash it.

I called in again and was told the same thing, the owners wouldn't be in til next week. Isn't that convenient? I know if I send the money order back to be signed, they'll just cash it and they've got a receipt showing they bought it and it'll look like they paid me. I emailed the coporate office weeks ago but didn't even get a response from them, I guess they don't care.

I don't know how they are for people that live close by and can just run in and pick up their cash but DON'T do business with them if you need them to mail you a check.
