The reason i'm writting this ripoff report is because I feel that everyone should know this about Pokerstars before playing with their online poker program. There's only one word to describe it, "scam". If you know anyone that has ever make any money from this site, please let me know. I didn't think so. Even if they did, they're on their way to losing it back if they are still playing. I know this guy who knows a former programmer that works for Pokerstars and he told him this is how their program works.
It's a clever scam if I may say. I've signed up by many different account names, all of them follows the same pattern. Starting off, when I first registered the account, the program give me all these nice hands (AA, KK, QQ, JJ, AK, AQ...) and every hand I call or buy I hit it. the money was flowing in. then after my first cash out, all these shitty hands (62, 72,32,k2) started to show up constantly. doesn't matter what hand I call with, nothing hit for me. I lose al my money back plus the cash out amount before it even get to my bank. happens everytime.
The "cash out" process also were designed to make you lose more before the money get to your account. Why the fck does it take more than a week for them to give you your payout vs instantly when you deposit ??? hint, money come in = "good", money go out = "bad", they want to slow it down as much as possible.
The poker program is rigged in a clever way to keep the balance of cash flow into their site as much as possible. The outcome are predetermined. the newbies always are in favored so that they remain on the site. The experienced players or the people who actually win some money are repeatedly get sucked out so that they will try to win their money back, thus, still remains on the site. Someone tell me that didn't happen to them. If you have pocket Aces, they get trips, if you have AK, they beat you with A2 and so on.
The poker program is also good at memorizing your playing pattern which makes it easier to setup hands for you to lose. Let's say they want you to lose but you refuse to play and fold every hand, what do they do?? Simple, they pull up from memory, the cards that you will most likely to call and give you those hands repeatedly until you call but they give your opponent who they want to win, a bigger hand.
It's going to be hard to resist playing a pocket Jack or AK suited or sometimes pocket Aces in extreme cases only to get sucked out by a smaller pocket or a bullshit hand. you know what i mean. Also, they keep track of your earnings and if you win too much, they will make sure you lose all of it back slowly before you can start making any money again. they don't do it blatantly but if you pay attention, you will see that you can only win on small pots and loses on almost all "All-ins" doesn't matter how good your hands are.
Pay attention to everything I say here and see for yourself. Poker is suppose to be a game of chance and skills, not a fuking setup game. Don't be an idiot and give them your money.
spread the words and shut down the site. Tell them to get a day job and start making an honest living.

ALOT of the players who comment on online poker being a scam are WINNING players! Derrr,of course you will get sucked out in poker, but online its consistent. If you lose 40% of the time when your a 80% percent favorite or better over a period of a million hands then you come to the conclusion that online poker is 100% a RIGGED SCAM! I was a winning player on pokerstars and I never even deposited. I actually withdrew 3 times. The ONLY way I was able to win was multitabling micros. Thats how players avoid the scam. First off,it took me almost 8 hours to win a freeroll ticket, then another 6 hours to win 16 cents from the freeroll ticket. Luckily I cashed in my first 10 cent tourny I played, then multitabled only 10 cent or 25 cent tournys for a LONG period of time. Anytime I tried to move up stakes. I was DOOMSWITCHED! So I learned my lesson after almost losing my freeroll bankroll. I stayed at 10 & 25 cent multitabling. I finally quit playing on Pokerstars after my 3rd cashout I kept a little in and I moved up stakes for the last time. I couldnt win to save my life! My last tourny I played on Pokerstars I lost consecutive hands to the same player. First hand I had AhQh,my "opponent was trying to run me over the entire tourny. I called he raised I smooth called, flop was Kh7h3h! He bets I reraise He raises himself allin I call. He shows 7d10h,turn 10s,river 7c for FULL BOAT! Next hand I have AdKd,I just call again then call his raise. Flop Qd,5d,9d. He bets I raise he raises ME allin and shows 9s8c. Turn is a 8 river 9 for another RUNNER RUNNER Full boat! Those were the LAST two hands I played on Jokerstars. Luckily I was fortunate to withdraw 3 times and again I NEVER deposited so Im not a whining Losing player. I actually won FREE money! I didnt play online poker for about 7 months. Pokerstars stopped letting Americans play for cash about 2 months after I quit playing Pokerstars so I decided to try Carbon on Merge because I missed playing Poker even though I knew 100% it was rigged. Carbon compared to Pokerstars is a JOKE! Ive managed to win Freeroll money on Carbon but can never get my bankroll over $12. Now when Im allin and a huge favorite I KNOW Im about to get RAMMED in the A-Hole! Thats from playing over 200k hands on Carbon. Its like they know Im not going to risk my own money so they wont let me win! Again,I have NEVER deposited on any online poker site. I play for Freeroll money. Now Im only playing the 6 cent tourny and freerolls on Carbon. I refuse to use my bankroll otherwise because I KNOW Im going to get screwed! If there was a fair poker site then I would play nonstop but for now I just play occasionally and laugh when Im allin because I know Im going to lose 50% of the hands Im 80% or better to win. My advice to anyone who wants to play online. DONT DEPOSIT! Try freerolls and see what your in for first. At first you will probably win but keep playing and the REAL online poker experience will show its ugly face. My final conclusion is that playing online poker is like playing the lotto or the slot machine unless you want to spend 8 or more hours a day multitabling micros to win 1/100th the amount of money you would win if it was Legit. Peace & GL

ok - this conjecture that pokerstars is rigged is ludicrous - i am a professional online and offline player - i do not win all the time and the losses can be very frustrating - i fully understand how the weaker inexperienced players feel when they believe they should win and lose when it looks like a statistical improbability - thats poker - i played a cash game in a casino recently and had ak on a flop of ak7 - i managed to get all my money in against an oppenent holding k5!!! - there was a lot of money in the pot and many people gathered round to see the turn and the river i felt pretty good my opponent should lose - when the turn was a 5 - then the river a 5 i lost a lot of cash - thats poker was it rigged? no no no was i pissed off yes yes yes - thats poker - i have since won all that money back and a lot more on pokerstars and the casino - what was that player doing putting all his chips in with an overcard on the board and a weak kicker - i dont know or care to be honest thats poker - i suggest those of you who think pokerstars is rigged either quit poker or learn to play this very exciting complex game - perhaps starting at the very low stakes may help you

I was an active member who made some good money off of this site. I was playing rather successfully until after time. I learned the best method of folding, the trick is folding and assuming that somebody did actually hit that rare card.
For the longest time I thought it made me a better player, until I started playing in real casinos.
What they make up about how online poker lets you see more hands is stupid, just because you may go to a casino and see 100 hands then saying how online poker lets you see 10,000 doesn't mean that the average of every hand will result with the winner having a flush or full house. More than often it's a setup where somebody who gets 3 of a kind will lose, which is uncommon.
This site is not random, this is not fair or regulated properly much like the other online websites. They have everybody defend this stuff but it's a lie. This site is not a fair or properly designed because the sequences are to target members.
The software finds a player's favorite hand, or anything they won't fold and lure them into sticking with the hand to the point they're convinced they've won. They stick with the hand and can't fold, much like I've said that I've won money from this site. It's those people who lose against freak accidents which people will consider luck.
This is a scam, there is nothing else to say. It's not just Pokerstars, all the websites are being shut down because it's been proven.
What's different than that?
Who else noticed that they don't have anti-hacking software?
I will tell everybody right now that this is all a scam. I have been in a table where I was in position to win $5,000 and I kept pushing all my chips in or folding because the idiots against me said they knew all the cards I have.
Look up online, find out how the online poker websites had software to see whole cards, and how the admins there had it normally. They also had tournaments where employees only played!
It's a scam, there is nothing to deny. The company was aware and other than the fact the company cheated out customers, everybody knew hackers would come along. This is a waste of time and the company should be sued.
Stick with real life poker, you're only fooling yourself playing online. It's obviously been a scam since day one!
Don't let them fool you.

Finally, some truth.
Ive played for five years, and everything here is everything ive always wondered about. i have several hand histories to back it up too.
I just lost to some newb. Its heads up, i raise preflop, he calls. Flop is J 4 2 all off suit. Im holding KK, and he pushes all in. I called, and hes holding 10 4!! Any guess what the turn and river was?? 2 and 4. No joke. Now does that happen in poker? Sure. Funny thing though - i suffered 8 bad beats before this from the same player, in the same tournament.
Lets establish some facts everyone can agree on. P'Stars is a profit minded company. No one will deny that. That being said, how do they protect their investment? They create luck for new players...same as any casino. To do that, maniacs have to win and good players have to lose.
The only strategy I found that works is this: Play tight and sneaky until you win one big pot. Once you do that, RUN. Find another table. Once you stack up, the system is on to you. Why? Because you have money : ). You can win money if you arent greedy, and have the discipline to lay down big hands. Barry Greenstein is a good example.
And for Gods sake - dont play against maniacs online. Unless you spend the time to create new accounts with a new Ip address, and disguise yourself as one :)

You are clever to figured that out. I was programming their software and resigned after they insisted programming features you mention in your filing. It's not totally dishonest as the company has to make money like all companies. But for me it was too unethical. Now I am working for a bank and compared to this Pokerstars was not immoral at all. Take care and watch our for your money.

i dont care what u idiots , and i do really mean idiots...! have to say about people , ( in ur opinion donks or people who play bad )
i'm one of those players u call donk. ive played for almost 7 years now ... on pokerstars that is ... made some cashes lost sum money, normal u would say for someone who isnt a pro... not big dollar cashes just a simple 3300 dollar win or a 215 on a sng 180... after i cashed i usually have a good feeling so nice to see those finally made dollars on your bank account.. strange thing though , after i cash out , i dont win anymore i could go for days or weeks without even hitting a hand. . . strange thing is even more when i play i only play the nice hands , but everytime i seem to get beaten by some guy who ships it in with 65 or a 610 offsuit , and like a normal pokerplayer would do i'd call with my AK or AA or any pair or good ace , now im not the mathematical type who goes and calculate his win perc. or odds. i'm a bit of a gut player. ... i go by feeling , but , and now here me out . .. if i was a mathematical player and based my play on this , ill come to the conclusion that 90% of the time im correct... but 90% of the time ill lose , why is this and ,why if i play the same amount of hands live the numbers dont add up?....
why is it that if i go all in with 12000 chips on AA , someone will risk his tournament life on 10 6 offsuit , why? can i get his book? or gimme a title?" how to be a rigged a*****e"? "what to call with on pokerstars"?
and why isnt this guy online the rest of the week or month , if i ran like that i could be an millionair. . he just disapears. allong with the first place price.. or second...
today i deposit 40 bucks , first tournament i got busted by 65 suited to my initial allin , the guy had 65 in his hand and pushed allin , he took some time thinking about it so i guess he was waiting on the flop to appear ( he still had to call my allin) but u get the idea. In the years i have played live poker i never come accross player who are that ignorend or just plain stupid , and this is the frustrating part, the same people who play like this must have a deal with these guys or some insight of how the hand plays to the river, coz no normal pokerplayer would have made that call, oops no call he raised for all his chips , and guess what ....he made his flush on the river. .. so i buy in to a 5.50 (20.000 gtd) i play 3 hands AK , i won , A rag made a straight and won 600 chips, only to lose it all with AQ vs A8 also an allin and a call. hit queen on flop crushed by magical straight on river.
after this i tryed the 11 dollar daily 40 grand , got dealt all sorts of hands AA AK AQ 10 10 99 77 and AJ , out of those hands i won only 1 , but beeing ahead 80% of the time. even trips got beat , by another magical flush on river or a straight. allin pre flop....... 66 vs 73off.
now u will probally say this guy is a donk it could happen to anyone , its poker !! BS! poker is based on the hand ur are dealt and the bets that are made , no player in his right mind will make such a call , This happens almost everytime i go allin and sometime the person who wins pushes me allin in .only to show me that my call was a good one , and i crash and burn on the river. no use talking with these people coz they'll tell u it was mathematical dicision based on a book he read. i dont believe in magic , its a trick faster then the eye.... but always a good explanations afterwards. just a trick.....
this isnt just a trick coz i dont pay money to be folled by sum idiot who randomly play his random hand , maybe thats it , ... eureka! random number generator , random hands , random players , my god i've found it, ill just play like a donk and donkout , new understanding in this crazy world we call online poker, Donkout.... remember it , it will happen on any site on any buy in and any time. good thing there still is live poker.
stranges thing about it i never had a suckout in live poker like i did on . . .
pokerstars, fulltilt, bodog, doyle's room, partypoker , redkings , heavens poker , titan , 888 , williams poker , winner poker .
they all have the same random numbers generator , but at the end there's notting random about it . . . .
something smells fishy , it aint me , it aint something between my girlfriends legs....
dont do it, stay wealthy and play live

Everything the report said was exactly right, and it has been happening to me (again) recently, where I build up a little money and they take it back with horrible beats, over and over. Today, I am winning again and getting great hands. When my money is gone (if it ever happens because they keep me in a certain range), I will NEVER play there again. One thing I do when I am getting ripped off is to go to the play money side and bad mouth them. I have seen it before where doing it on the cash side actually gets you better cards (I got AA 3 of 5 hands once when I did it), but now it seems that they punish you. I think the chat box is monitored for key words. I am no idiot either, having been an electrical engineer for over 20 years. I am also sick of seeing pocket AA KK & JJ on the same hand. They seem to have cooled some of their rediculous community cards where I would see over and over fl draws vs. str (almost always A high) vs. table pairs, etc... In my opinion, not only are they trying to keep the money flowing, they are also increasing rake. People always ask what Pokerscams has to gain. The answer is rake. I hate this site, but supposedly they are all rigged, so I will stay and see flops when I can't do it live. As a note, one time when I was on the upswing, I got flushes 3 times at the final table of a tourney, and of course won. The first hour the next day, I got 2 more. That's 5 flushes in 2 hours. Possible? For sure, but I have seen too many odd things like high pocket pairs 4 of 5 hands several times. Poker is strange, but Pokerscams is far stranger (rigged). No question about it.

pokerstars and almost all others is 1 big scam... i had them all ps, pp, ft, and go on...everytime i have the same thing hapening; i deposit money, i win 1-2 games, then loss all, happens everytime doesn't matter the limit, 1dollar 50 dollar... doesnt matter how i play when i play or what game i play... iplay some years now because iam addicted to poker with passes of months over 1.000.000 hands so i know what iam talking about, its just 1 big scam... and people indeed should know about this... u have NO CHANCE, if u really wanne do it anyway, LEAVE after u win 1game, because u will loss all... besides the incredibel action hands u get like the others already explained (5 full houses, 10 flushes 8 streets and 20 triples IN AN HOUR ON 50 HANDS are as normal as i see it everytime) they also favour people, if u just lossed a few games, u will start getting good hands untill u get placed on a different table and loss all in 1-2 hands with the best hands possible... (the time for this can be 100+ hands, in the mean time u just loss all)
I blame the gouverment to for not blocking these sites (like america does for example) or legelising a few sites with full control over it... THEY LET PEOPLE BEING RIPPED OFF pokerstars is 1 of the worst i been to... they also have alot of bots thats why they are so 'big' compared to others some will say why would they manipulate small stakes... very simple; when u can have 1000 dollar would u settle for 100? indeed not, nobody would...Ijust wanne say to people dont play at these sites anymore and let them 'die' so maybe smarter ones will arise who are more fair...from now on i only play real life poker (onwhat iam a succesfull winner)
but online poker is just crap...alot of people will say they do win steady, those people are affiliates (being payed) of these sites to lure people like u and me to depositing money to them... dont listen to them...

AUTHOR: David Jake - (United States of America)

The previous poster was right on the money and that is EXACTLY how it happens. I stay around $30 and cannot get above it. I lost on full houses 3 times in a week to better full houses. After I first started I won at first, of course), I had losing streaks of over a week twice where I could not get a hand, and I saw many, many flops. When I was on the upswing (at different times) I got AA 3 of 5 hands and flushes 3 times at the final table of a tourney and 3 the next day. I am constantly pointing out the BS cards on the site and many agree it's rigged, but most won't listen. I have seen cards through the river with A hi flush and straight set ups so often at one table I laugh at it. Recently, it has been a pair on the flop with such regularity it is not possible. I am a disabled engineer with a high IQ, so don't tell me about sour grapes. I win most of the time only to lose it back with horrible, repeated bad beats. I have also heard the same complaints in Illinois, Indiana and Florida.
Quote at a table: (me) "you think people would notice something a little wrong here." Response: "you'd think people would notice a LOT wrong here."
At the casino where I play, many of talk about HOW poker stars is rigged, never IF. Talk at the tables on poker stars and let people know.

I read what the original poster wrote and he is spot on. One thing that he did not mention is that if you increase either your blind level at cash games or tourney buy in amount, you have to pay your dues before you can win. Pokerscams claws back money if you are on a hot streak and keeps you in a certain range with profits.
Not only have I played well in excess of 10,000 hands at pokerscams, I am an engineer of 20+ years who has taken statistics. My I.Q. is in the area of 130, so I am no dummy. I once got pocket aces 3 times in 5 hands. I also have gone for weeks at a time with nothing. I have played two tables at a time and watch hands so similar for long periods that it is statistically impossible (I did NOT say improbable). Since I have been on disability for about a year, I have played many thousands of hands. I also play at casinos and know what a flop looks like, and Pokerscams is rigged. End of story. I am limiting my play there until I find a decent place to play. I started playing at Purepoker.com and find the pocket cards and flops reasonable, but the number of donks is huge. The pocket cards and flops bolster the theory that pokerscams is rigged in a huge way.
I have talked to people in Indiana, Illinois and Florida that verify what is being said.
