I started with Prime Inc in July, 2008 I was told that I would make no less than $85,000.00 per year as a lease driver. Prime recuriter Cindy in Springfield, MO told me herself. I told her that just sounded too good to be true. Well it was. It was a flat out lie. So here I quit a good company for Prime. Well the first week I made over $1500.00 thinking wow this is really great. Then the next week I made a check that was negative $600.00 I thought this was a mistake. I was told that was unusal and should not happen again. So the next 2 weeks I made nothing. Then the third week I made a $150.00 check. I called Prime Inc and told them if things keeps going like this I am going to have to get out of this lease. I was told by my dispatcher Jeff in the Pittston, Pa terminal that well thats the price that you pay when you have a business. There are some weeks you don't get paid. I went a few more weeks getting low pay checks. One of Primes customers is Walmart DC in Olney,IL I was detained 2 days because the customer did not want to take their product for 2 days later. Apparently it was not properly scheduled for delivery by Prime Inc customer service. I was negative $900.xx and change for that week. I expected that to charge them detention pay, and lay over. Prime Inc advised they didn't want to upset the customer, but it's ok to get your drivers all upset. So with me being in the hole it was my problem to deal with. Prime Inc stated to me that we can't afford to piss off the customer. So here I am loosing money and have to put money out to keep their product cold. The refer had to keep running and I used almost 50 gallons of extra fuel to keep the product cold. I threaten them I would turn off the refer but Prime advised we should not do that. I lost major money with that load. So after 3 months of making hardly anything, I requested a transfer to Springfield dispatch. The so called terminal manager Eric in the Pittston, PA terminal argued with me along with the operations manager Stan Olman. Stan Olman said switching dispatchers wont make a difference. I advised him that I am the lease operator and I was told that if at anytime that I am not happy with my dispatcher I can switch. No questions asked. Well finally after contacting Stan Olman three times he agreed. Well I was pretty happy with my new dispatcher. He was really smart (I thought) for a couple of months there I was really happy. I was making steady checks about $1000.00 or more. Some were low but that was because I just came back on the road from hometime. Well to top things off things were going down hill by month 5 to month 6 and right before I went home for Thanksgiving Holiday, I was in Atlanta, Ga and I was at a customers. Well the customer was Nordic Cold Storage, I have been verbally cursed and abused by Prime Inc's customer. I have proof of this. Anyway here I get loaded in the wee hours in the morning of November 25th, 2008. I don't get to bed until 0400hrs and a yard dog bangs on the side of my truck door and keeps banging until I get up to see what he wants. Well he yells, curses me out and it goes down hill from there where the person says to me to f***  off, he said that twice, so after listening to that garbage coming out of his trailer park mouth I told him no you. Here is the email that was sent to Herb Love which was requested by him. He is the manager of the HR Department of Nordic Cold Storage in Doraville,Ga:

I am the person who you had spoke to in reference to your yard dog's behavior. I just got to sleep at 0400hrs. At 0650hrs I get this bang on my truck and it is a white male wearing a blue jump suit about 5'5in tall or so. He was about 200lbs. I think he had brown hair, but was wearing a cap. He was driving the little truck that moves the trailors on the lot in the back near the E dock area. He was yelling and screaming and his behaviour was very bazaar and said to me that I better move my truck or else. I advised him to never bang on the side of my truck again. Also him yelling and cursing at me, I advised him that he would need to quit doing that and I will move. He told me to f***  off, f***  myself and it was totally unprofessional of him to act or talk that way. He was totally out of line of what he said to me. I told him he needs to stop. He said no, f***  you, I said no, you. He said to me that I wished that I could f***  him and he said all you drivers would love to do that. Now he was totally out of line. If he does that with his friends or partner on his own time, then he needs to keep that at home, and away from the work place. That is sexual harassment, I will not allow myself to be subjected to that. I expect this to be taken care of at once. If he were to do that to a real truck driver, I would not feel sorry for him on what the out come would be. I expect this problem to be taken care of or there will be charges filed against this person. I don't ever expect to be treated like this ever again. His actions were totally out of line. Well anyway my dispatcher (John Hardin) a couple days after I sent this email to Herb Love at Nordic Cold Storage in Doraville, Ga per his request (outside of Atlanta) had called me and asked me if I was Hollywood954 and no one at Prime ever knew me by that or my email. I asked him how does he know my email and who gave him the address and what's the problem. He stated that I was involved in some sort of sexual harrassment case. Then I said yes there was a problem with one of their customers in Ga and I called Prime Inc that morning as soon as it occured and they didn't want nothing to do with it. So I contacted the persons HR manager and per Herb Loves request he wanted a detailed email stating on what happened and he would take action against the person who cursed and abused me also including the sexual remarks that were made to me from his employee. Well John Hardin wanted my side of the story. I asked how did he get the email that I sent to Herb Love. John said he asked Herb Love for it. I advised John Hardin that since Prime Inc did not want anything to do with me getting cursed out by their customer, the email was none of their business. Then John Hardin asked me when will I be by the Springfield Terminal. I advised him I would not be stopping by the terminal. I had reason to. He stated I thought you were going to buy a truck to become independant operator. I advised him if I can survive through these tough times in the past few months, I am going to wait until maybe the spring time to make a switch. He told me to hang on. Well John Hardin three way Stan Olman in the conversation and Stan Olman apparently did not know I was on the line and he slipped up and was telling John Hardin that he wanted me to be directed in to the Springfield to turn the lease truck in that I was paying for. They wanted me to resign on my own because Stan Olman stated they can't afford to lose a customer, but Prime can afford to lose a driver. He stated drivers can easly be replaced, but through these hard times here, they can't lose a customer. Even though the customer was wrong for letting their employee curse and abuse their driver and said sexual things to their driver and about all their drivers, they could not afford to lose them. I strongly advised Stan Olman that they were making a bad mistake and need to reconsider this. They stated to me if I could not sit there and put up getting cursed out to the wall, then truck driving is not for me. I advised Stan Olman if Prime allows their drivers to get cursed and abused and they don't want to back up their drivers, then I wont work for a company like that, and I was resigned my position. If Prime Inc wanted the lease truck back they could had me take the truck back to the Pittston, Pa terminal which was alot closer to me than Springfield, MO. I then said screw Prime Inc, they are not worth it. Stan said he wanted the truck back by 1300hrs on 12/06/08. I advised him I will return the truck to him the next day after lunch. When I did return the truck back to Prime Inc in Springfield, MO it was not a real fun place to be. They were acting like US Army Drill Sargents directing me to do this, hurry up, do that. Well this was the so called Prime security guy they had working. His name is Russell. He is so called Ex-Springfield cop. He acts like he is a police officer. Well he apparently tells people he is a retired Springfield cop. I was taken to the Springfield airport to pick up the rental car, so I can go back east. I drove back to the Prime Terminal and I cleared out my stuff from the truck. Well they made me walk about 200 feet from where the truck was to where the rental car was parked. So it took me about 2 hours to clear the truck out. I had the truck cleaned. It was spotless when I turned the truck in to Prime. All the truck needed was a outside wash. I then walked inside the Prime terminal to turn the keys in to Prime, and I wanted to get confirmation that I turned the truck into them and that I was no longer leasing the truck from Prime. Well Russell the little security guy that Prime has working for them he was apparently sleeping in the security office and I apparently bothered him. I knocked on the door and he started to yell and scream at me. Stated how did you get in here, where are you parked. I am going to detain you here, have you arrested and have your car impounded. I thought the guy was crazy. Russell did put his hands up towards me, I steped away I called 911. Call got disconnected. The Springfield Police 911 dispatch called back. I advised them what happened. Prime did not want to give me anything in writing that I turned the truck in. Driver Line up was suppose to handle this. The so called Prime security Russell had no business interfering with me turning the truck in to get proper credit for the truck, chains/cables, ect.When I was threaten by Russell the rent a cop want to be, I contacted the police about what happened at the Prime terminal. I left the property. I was given directions to the police department and I was advised that if I want to press charges against Russell I could, but since he didn't lay a hand on me, or throw me in a room I couldn't do anything. I advised the Springfield Police if he did lay a hand on me he would be in big trouble and would had charges put against him. He stating to me you are not going anywhere is considered attempted kidnapping. Look at OJ Simpson, he made that commet and look where he is. Russell is lucky that he is not sitting in jail. The Springfield Ploice have it in their system that I did turn the truck in to Prime Inc and that they would not give me a confirmation on the lease turn in. They also advised me that Russell never worked as a police officer in Springfield and he should not be going around telling people he is a retired Springfield cop. Russell is so into himself that he has a police scanner in the van that he drives around. He also has a ear plug hooked up to it, like a secret service agent. Springfield Police Department advised that Prime Inc has a habbit of starting fights with ex employees and they tend to keep charging for the lease after you turn in the lease. Weeks after and was advised to get a lawyer if that were to happen so my credit does not get tarnished. I advised the police that I was seeking a lawyer already. Here a week or so later I get a letter from Succe$$ Leasing Inc signed by Fred Ege (Contractor Relations Manager) staing the Lease Agreement between yourself and Success Leasing, Inc. has been canceled effective December 8, 2008 per Section 18 of the Lease Agreement. Well the Lease was turned into Prime Inc on December 6th, 2008. At first Success Leasing didn't want to credit me from the 6th. They wanted to charge me until the 8th of December. So I advised them that was wrong and they would need to correct it and send me confirmation that this Lease was cancelled as of December 6th, 2008. They finally agreeded. I was advised that there would probably be no final pay check at all. It takes Success Leasing/ Prime Inc. 45 days to clear out the lease. My best advise is to not do any type of Leasing through Prime Inc. or Successing Leasing Inc at all. It is one heck of a nightmare. I omly made $13,200.00 in 5 months and 1 week, not including taking out taxes. Now if I were to be a company driver I would have made almost $20,000.00 That's about a $6,500.00 difference. If you want to make money don't work for Prime Inc and do not get talked in to Leasing their truck. Prime Inc makes a lot of money off of their drivers when they lease the trucks. Prime Inc likes when drivers like us Lease their trucks, they don't pay for anything. We as the driver do. Don't get suckered like I did. I did talk to another operations manager Jack Ewing on December 6th, 2008 when I turned the Lease truck in to Prime Inc and he stated if you can't handle our customers abuse, as drivers, then driving isn't for you. He advised that we are drivers and should be expected to be treated like crap. I advised him I am a human being and will treat people the way I am treated. Jack Ewing also advised his over night dispatch was wrong for not taking a report when I called them with the problem when their customers employee at Nordic Cold Storage in Doraville, Ga cursed me out and said all the sexual statements about truck drivers. Jack Ewing advised his security guy Russell will take a written report about the curse and abuse and sexual statements that were made to me. That statement was never taken. Prime Inc does not care about drivers. Jack Ewing said in a time like this it is eaiser to get rid of a driver than lose a customer. Well if it was not for us drivers, Prime Inc would not be in business because there would be no drivers to haul their customers freight.
