PrivacyMatters is a fraudently company in business to rip you off and nothing more. You better be careful who you give your credit card to online because this company is out there waiting to scam you and charge your credit card every month for something you didn't ask for, sign up for or requested.

I gave my credit information to Classmate.com and they sold my information including credit information to PrivacyMatters and that is how the fraud happen

Thank you for sending us your concerns regarding your experience and the charges to your credit card. According to our records you accepted an offer with one of our partners, Adaptive Marketing, who offers Privacy Matters 1-2-3.



When you completed your Classmates Gold membership purchase, you were presented with an opportunity to participate in a free trial offer with Privacy Matters 1-2-3. This offer was presented on its own individual page and included highlighted "Offer Details" and buttons labeled "Yes" and "No Thanks".



In order for your Shopping Privacy Matters 1-2-3 membership to be activated you would have had to enter your email address twice and selected the "Yes" button. By selecting Yes you authorized Classmates to provide your information to Privacy Matters 1-2-3. Immediately below the boxes where you entered your email address is the statement: "By clicking "Yes" I have read and agree to the Offer Details displayed to the left and authorize Classmates to securely transfer my name, address and credit/debit card information to Privacy Matters 1-2-3, a service provider of Classmates".



The Offer Details, which were provided next to the Yes and No Thanks buttons, stated the length of the free trial, auto renewal information, the amount of the subscription fee, as well as a toll free number for cancellation. In addition, during the trial membership, Privacy Matters 1-2-3 sends out a welcome email so that you may cancel and avoid being billed after the free trial period.
