Public Power & Utility of New Jersey Deregulation Overcharge in New Jersey Red Bank New Jersey

 I just found out today that my deregulation utility company Public Power & Utility of NJ was overcharging me for my energy consumption. They were charging me almost double from what my area utility provider Jersey Central P&L would have charged me. It appears that once my 2 year introductory fixed rate had expired with Public Power they started overcharging me with their monthly variable rate which was almost double that of Jersey Central's variable rate. When I called them to complain all they offered me was a $50 customer credit on my next July bill. Understandably I will be dropping them once I get my credit. Always read your utility bill to make sure your deregulation utility's basic generation service rate is less than your area utility provider rate.
