I fell for all the advertising and hype promising the opportunity to enter an auction for a specific item with a chance of winning such auction for a fractioin of the stated value of the article. They have devised an auction called "you choose it" in which a person can bid on at least 2 items listed under the same auction number. I wanted one specific item but found myself bidding againest several bidders who were bidding on a different item. The end result was that this is all designed to keep the bids inflated on the item you might be bidding on. I highly suspect that several of the bidders were actually employed by QuiBids to run up the price. I could not keep up and finally dropped out.

The sad fact is that you loose whatever you have bid. You have to buy bids in advance just to have a chance to bid. Stop and think about it folks, if you have 6 or 7 bidders on any one item who might invest 180 to 240 dollars apiece, bids are sold in blocks for 60 dollars each, to try and win a 400 dollar set of golf clubs, QuiBids is making a killing. Of course they list the set of golf clubs' value at $799 to make you really think you might get a good deal. There is nothing good about QuiBids, even if you figure out the scam early and drop out of auction you have probably already lost a minimum of $60. Hopefully someone will be able get this on line scan closed down and the appropreate people prosecuted.
