QuickenLoans Anybody else ripped off by Quicken, I won't let this one go! Ripoff Nationwide

I called Quicken after a commercial on TV. I was called by a person named Bill Jenkins. He assured me that we could get a loan that all our info was adequate. He then wanted a credit card number or bank account number to verify funds of 500.00 in our account. We then signed that paper that says you are responsible for 500.00 if I back out of the loan process. I had no intention of backing out because I knew everything was ok, even he said everything was ok. Bill instructed us to sign papers quickly to lock into the great rate he was giving us. we were approved. Finally, a month later after no call from Quicken, I call them. Bill said he was sorry that our appraisal came in too low. I explained that I know the appraisal was inaccurate because #1, I know the area around here, #2 my husband is a realtor and #3 I looked on the MLS myself and pulled comparible houses and the prices were right insync with my house hence the appraisal was wrong. We spoke about other options and I even told him I was sending papers from the MLS to show the underwriters and he said it would help. Before I got the papers to him, he already stamped our application denied and they took money out of our account. I cannot get ahold of him now. He won't return our phone calls. This is why I am writing this report. I could not believe all the other similiar complaints. Don't you think it interesting that there are so many peple complaining about the same thing??? I also find it interesting that it seems they have a habit of denying loans becasuse of "low" appraisals. I won't let this go. I refuse to be ripped off. This is my first step. I will also file with BBB and FTC and appropiate government officials. I pray that an attorney that has interest in this matter, PLEASE HELP US. Don't let them get away with this. Fairbanks was stopped in their tracks for their predatory lending practices and was ordered to pay people back and these people can be stopped too. I am not going to stop pursuing this until I know they have made things right with all the folks they have ripped off. Hey, I am a homemaker and I have plenty of time!
