Quickenloans Ripoff LYING DECEIVERS Lead me to believe I would be hired as a mortgage banker Scottsdale Arizona

I had applied for employment with Quickenloans Inc in December of 2006. I read an article the company was moving their headquarters from Livonia, Mi to Scottsdale, Arizona. This past Apirl 07 I received a call from a Quickenloans company recruiter, (employed by same) expressing an interest sales background and experience and mortgage sales experience. They wanted to know if I was still interested in employment opportunities. I said yes and the recruiter went on to explain I would have to pass a phone interview for further consideration (which I did). The result was pure elation and excitemnent by the recruiter that I "ranked very high" as a candidate for the position, but still needed to have a face to face interview. He wanted to know if I could fly to Scottsdale for the interview and lead me to believe in "veiled" hints that I would be selected as I express concern over the expense I would have.

The recruiter implied that the company would be going to an even greater expense to train me at their Michigan office; (hotel, meals and virtually all incidnetal expenses for five weeks before sending me back home to begin work. I added up all expenses for a three day trip to Scottsdale for a total of $1350.22 for flight, ground transportation, hotel, meals, and other expenses. I had an interview with the "regional vice president" which lasted about 45 minutes. I was told I would have his decision within 48 hrs. During the interveiw, I was asked how much I had invested in coming out for the interveiw with regard to flight, hotel and setting up living quarters in anticipation that I would be hired. The bottom line is that even though no agreement was made to cover my expenses for travel to get on with this company, I was encouraged, lead to believe, assured in veiled terms that it would be worth my time as the company was trying to fill nearly 30 spots and wasnt' even close to the hiring goal. I did well in the interveiw but I'm told at first it wasnt' my performance in the interveiw that tipped their decision. I was not hired for the job and feel they should reimburse me for travel expenses because of their "insistance" that I come out for the interveiw. They are liars, deceivers, double crossers and flat out a******s.
