On Monday Dec 1 I ordered two cheap camera's online for my boys. Two hours later I received an email stating that my order has been suspended due to a credit card error. Figuring that I must have entered something wrong I went back onto the site to re-order those camera's. The next day I went to my bank account online and noticed a larger sum of money on hold that should have been so I contacted my bank in which they proceeded to inform me that Radio Shack had FOUR holds on my account. So I looked up my account from Radio Shack online and noticed that both the suspended order AND the other order afterwards went through so I then called your 800 where a lady told me that there was a computer system error that generated that email to everyone. I asked for the one order to be cancelled which she said that she could not due because it was in the process of being shipped. I then inquired about the FOUR holds and she insisted that there was only one and that I should contact my bank to get the other ones off.

So I called my bank and they told me that they could not lift those holds unless they were notified by Radio Shack. At this point I am upset since I was not expecting $254.32 on a $63.58 order. I called the 800 again and the lady there informed me that they had to process every order twice which is what created the FOUR holds. I again asked for the one shipment to be cancelled and was told no and she was not able to lift those holds. I had to wait a few days before the bank lifted those holds. I had no access to that money during that time. This is Christmas time you can not process every order twice tying up people's money.

It gets even better. I logged on Sat. to see if it had been shipped so that I can return the other order to the store and noticed it was not shipped. Curious since I was told Tuesday it was being shipped the system said it wasn't so I then called their 800 number yet again where Carlos was the point of contact. He said that the warehouse was backed up on getting things out but IF (the key word) IF it was not shipped yet he would just cancel both orders. Fine whatever I only wanted the one canceled but at this point I had been through enough from this company as long as they didn't charge me fine cancel it and he was suppose to have a manager call me which they never did. Monday I look and you had the system updated finally and it turns out that the packages were in fact shipped on the 3rd. Their employee did not mention that and their website did not have that updated. I go onto FedEx to view the tracking and it states:
Dec 6, 2008 10:03 AM Package returned to shipper HUNKER, PA Unable to deliver shipment, return to shipper - Shipper requested

So of course now I have to call them again where some guy said that he would do what he can to get a Manager to return my call but yet again no response. After work on Monday Dec 8 I called and demanded a supervisor. Some punk a*s p***k gets on the phone and proceeds to tell me that this is all my fault I returned it and I will wait the waiting period to get refunded. The waiting period is 7-10 AFTER they receive that packages back to their warehouse. I then tried to tell him that it states shipper request and he goes yes that is you and I said no I CALLED FEDEX THEY SAID RADIO SHACK REQUESTED IT BACK. He said no you did not us. I am the recipient not the shipper. It never made it to my house. It would have been there Monday had the company decided not to screw me AGAIN. As you can imagine my patience at this point is little and I am being blamed for the employees mistakes and frankly if you are going to put someone in charge they BETTER learn the difference of shipper and recipient. I have made several phone calls and everyone tells me the same thing.

Finally today I f get someone who knows the difference that I am not the shipper but says 7-10 most likely 10 business days. That takes me until Christmas I do not think so. Those people held a few hundred dollars from me for days for no reason then they recall the products and take my money. THAT IS FRAUD. it was suppose to be cancelled IF it was not shipped, BEFORE my debit card was charged not AFTER. Providing it was shipped why would they recall it? I ask if they would call FedEx back to resume shipping and they said that they can't call FedEx. I said well you called them to cancel the order why can't you call to resume it? They said they don't do that. They can't cancel the shipment at their warehouse cause they have no contact with the warehouse but they can cancel it during a shipping. Makes no sense but they call to cancel (after they charge me of course) but refuse to call to have it shipped again. This company makes no sense. They blame their customers instead of helping them. I have FedEx email stating it was returned and yet they still say it was me. HELLO. They apparently had over 5,000 complaints from their system error and refuse to help anyone. FRAUD
