Don't be fooled by the looks of this school. They lied to me during my interview about services offered. I know this seems foolish, however, it's an appalling feeling having to tell the clientele you walked into school with that if they want to follow you they will have to wait because I can't take them during school. I found out that they lied about six weeks into the program. I called the corporate office to ask about transferring to another school because of this. The lady I spoke to told me that if I did, I would have to payback more money. When I asked her what I should do about being lied to, her exact words were, "well what am I supposed to do." I said, "I guess nothing?" She responded, "OK, anything else I can help you with?" She never even helped. They're rude.

They also brag about how great their program is, when it's a joke. When I started, the program was a week or two on a subject, (skin, nails, hair color, etc.) and when you finished all the subjects, you would repeat them all again. The same thing. When everyone was done with the test for that unit, we would sit around for hours doing absolutely nothing for hours. $18,000 spent on poor education and sleeping during the entire class because they had nothing else to teach us that day. You all also need to know that I have have sat down with my campus manager numerous times, and all she says is, "we can't go back in time." The lessons were also the bare minimum basic of the industry.

I have had several meetings with my mom, who is a huge part of paying my tuition, and my campus manager about everything. I told her that I felt I needed some extra help beacuse I didn't feel confident in certain areas. She said that was no problem, she was going to have a meeting with my teachers about it and that I would start one on one with my educaters the following week. I got that time for about five minutes with one educator. When I asked my campus manager about it after weeks had gone by, she told me that the educators (mind you there are only 2 educators for 20-25 students) were busy working on hours for a new program called Studio Luma an IPAD based learning, which started on March 2.

We knew about this change a while ago, and this whole time my campus manager kept saying how great everything will be after it starts and to just wait for Studio Luma. It's basically everything from the lesson plan put into an IPAD that you do all your tests and lessons on. Most of the students at my campus, from all classes including night time students, have all agreed that this program has made everything worse. The students closer to graduation have to test on the same things we learned from the previous lessons. And once again, we are repeating. After a very stressful week tranferring over to the IPAD, I begged my educator (the one who acts like she honestly cares), to teach me a cut that I knew very little about.

After all, at this point I am about two and a half months away from graduating. That teacher had mentioned that she had no idea how long I had been hoping for this one on one and that the meeting between my campus manager and educators didn't happen until weeks after my meeting with my campus manager. The three of us then had a little sit down, and I asked why they didn't even know. She pretty much told me that she had them working on those hours for Studio Luma and they were already busy with that. I looked at that woman and said that I am paying $18,000 for an education and that I don't care what they have going on for this program, I want to be taught something.

I have told them, as well as the corporate office, about this so many times that I just gave up because it has gotten me no where. They want you to post pictures doing hair at school and tag Regency in everything you do, and it's really starting to look like another show put on by these con artists. This school is waste of time, money, and your sanity. I also am not the only one who has had similar problems. As a matter of fact, I talked to a girl TODAY who started a few weeks ago and said the same thing about the nail issue. These girls are constantly being sucked into a horrible school. They have found almost every way to screw me over, don't fall for them.
