Rejuvenem Charged $169.00 while on the trial period. Was told I cancelled after trial period too bad for me. Internet

I signed up for a trial sample of Rejuvenem day cream and eye serum for $4.95 and $5.95 plus shipping. After trying it for a week, I called and said I wanted to cancel and did they want it back. After a long sales pitch about the wonders of the product the representative said she would offer a lifetime half price discount. I said no and she said that because is so wonderful, she would extend the trial period to mid December. when I saw my credit card bill I called again and was told that because I cancelled after the trial period I would have to pay the charges. It's a terrible product, very drying to the skin and I will not use it. Here is a copy of a part of the terms they list.

"Refund Policy:
I understand that if I am not fully satisfied with my products I may cancel my order at any time by calling customer service and returning any unused, unopened Product to our warehouse. All returns must be within 30 days of original purchase (excluding trial product). Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable."

My order was received on 9/27. I called to cancel on 10/13 and was told they would extend the trial to December 15, 2016.

The customer service person hung up on me after I was told I'd still have to pay for the product.
