Relocation Moving & Storage City to City Thieves and Liars -- Broke everything including my flatscreen TV Bronx, New York

These "people" are thieves.  Adam Shapiro, a moving expert from Relocation Moving called me and told me he was a retired cop, so I trusted him and agve him the job.  He came to my home and looked around and estimated my move at 4-5 hours for $450.  He gave me a fraudulent estimate.  It ended up costing me OVER $2000 for the move with hidden fees.  Adam asked me whether I had to be "out" on the day of the move - I said, yes.  I gave a cash deposit.  I was not told that the name of the company is Relocation Moving.  I only learned that name from the charge receipt.  Adam told me the company had insurance.

The kid movers arrived late in a rented truck.  Not professionals - three 20 year old kids.  I was presented with a new contract with additional fees which the kids could not explain because they did not speak sufficient English.  I was told to sign it or they would leave and I would lose my deposit.

The kids did not have a hand truck to make the move.  They carried single boxes up and down stairs instead of stacking on a hand truck.  Instead of moving out my furniture, they cleared out  closets which were not part of the move, without my request or permission and boxed them up (with garbage!!!) to make the extra charges.

The kids were slow, so slow we missed the 5:00 pm deadline to move into my new building.  I had to pay for the day's move then and there orthey would hold my possessions hostage.  That's when I learned of the $880 in extra and hidden fees!!  That was more than the original estimate.

I had to pay $200 for overnight storage in a parking lot and $90 for these kids to travel to my new apartment (3 miles from the old apartment) the next day.  And they were late, again.

Did I mention that they busted and damaged just about everything?  They shattered, yes shattered my flat screen TV.  They knew they had done it because they left their costly cloth wraps around it and did not place it on the table as I had asked on 2 occasions - because it could not stand on its own.

When I called the company to tell them that items were missing and broken, the owner David, cursed me out and hung up on me.  Then Judy, told me they have no insurance.  Now they won't return my calls.

But the story is not over.  I will take them to Court.  They damaged so many things that it far exceeds what they charge in the move.  Plus a copr, if they really are a corp. must appear in Court with an attorney.  They will have to pay an attorney on top.

These are nasty, horrible people.  Too bad that they hid their identity from me.
