RENTCOLLECT CORP Rentcollect corp ruins any report they can irrationaly without any logic. Everett Washington

Rentcollect corp will stop at nothing to ruins ones credit for no reason.
Throughout 2004-2007 I lived in an apartment. My mom was the signer because at that time I was only 17 years old. Although I would make the payments, the apartment and contract was under my mothers name.

When I moved out, my mother said she would give the months or how ever long the notice is to give before leaving. she gave it but only a few days off and this is where the collection agency came in.

I moved out, and went about my business untill I recieved a bill saying I owe 1,122.. for what?! they decided to charge me becuase of the late notice and therfore another months rent. they sent this to Rentcollect Corp. I filled a dispute amongst my credit report and they told me I must contact Rentcollect corp. directly. I called and they said that there is nothing they can do, but in a rude way, and since I was living there I must pay.

I am not about to pay over $1000 for something I did not do. I told them, and my mom agreed, it should be filled under her individual responsibility and not joint; where I am affected and my credit it ruined at the age of 21.

This all occured in this past April 2008, when I wanted to apply for a credit card, but was denied. throughout the time I waited to see if anything would change from my credit report, since this was under investigation.

I called rentcollect corp. just a few minutes ago and spoke with a lady, Shannon Harm, whom claims to be the manager. She spoke to me quite rude. and when I asked her to send me a bill, because I do not recieve anything to aware me this bill is ongoing, she refused.
She said it was a waste of time since they spoke to my mother back in april, and my mom said she would get an attorney or take it into her own hands.. Which I was not aware of. I asked her then how could I pay? she said by phone with a credit card or send a check to the mailing address. I asked to speak to the manager and she said she is the manager.

Rentcollect corp has no rationality! if I was going to pay.. they refuse to send me a bill for verification! This is ridiculous.. they only seek out to ruins ones credit!

any advice any help?
