Rock Tops Ripped off 6 days before X-Mas......took $2,600.00,no counters! Westchester Ohio

I had given Rock Tops 1,600.00 in early Nov. as a downpayment so they would come measure for a template for my new granite countertop.A couple weeks later they called to say they needed the rest of the money before they would cut the granite to size.I was hesitant,they claimed it was the last day to pay to ensure installation before Chrismas.Although I was still hesitant,I got in the car,drove up there and gave them another $1000.00.Was told on that time installation was set for Dec.19th between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m.We had removed our old countertp,sink,everything in cabinets to ease up installation.We recieved a call at 7:45 that morning saying there was a emergency in the family and they would not be here that day.We asked if they would ensure install by X'Mas and they said there is no gurantee and was told to call corporate.So we did,no answer,no answer no answer!Just recordings!Closed for holidays!We were furious.We drove up there to find paper on windows of showroom,blinds pulled down and a big sign that said closed for the holidays!I paid alot,refused 10 hours of overtime from work that day,not to mention the work involved in disconnecting plumbing,and taking counters out!They made me sign something that said I would be charged $250.00 if I cancelled installation for whatever reason 72 hours prior to install.Well I want my $250.00,my $2,600.00,the time missed for work,and paid for my unnessary labor!I feel they are just stealing from all of us hard working folks!Good luck to all of us!Let's make sure they do NOT get away with this!I'm in for the fight to get my money back!You Be Too!
