ROEHL TRANSPORT DISHONEST AND ILLEGAL CONDUCT marshfield Wisconsin

 I worked for Roehl Transport for about four years.  It seemed to be a good company at first.  They were generally patient and understanding as I was a new driver just starting learn how to drive.  I was given good miles.  However as time went on they seemed to get worse.  They pretend that they do everything illegal, but in fact they have you drive illegally.  A number of times I told them that I would be unable to deliver certain loads ontime due to time constraints.  I was told to drive it anyway when they knew full well that I couldnt' do it legally.  A number of times the dispatchers would call me with their cell phones to insure that the phone call was not recorded, as they told me to do things which were violations of Federal Law.  One dispatcher when he called me on his cell phone, threatened to write me up for overspeed (going too fast downhill) unless I delivered the load despite the fact that I didn't have the hours to deliver it legally.  I am fairly certain that his conduct was a violation of federal law.

I left the company when I was falsely accused by a particulalry nasty dispatcher.  He said that I should have had my passport to drive into Canada.  I told him, and had evidence of this, that I had been removed from driving to Canada by a dispatcher in his office.  I could back this up with evidence because when you don't drive Canada you stop getting a bonus, and I hadn't gotten the bonus for over a year.  Neverthless, they wrote me up for not having my passport.  I complained to the manager but he chose to ignore the evidence.  I called Dan Roehl, but he was utterly useless.  He acted like he was going to be helpful, but then he deliberately avoided me.  The dispatcher tried to get me fired, but he only able to get the black mark in my record.  I was shocked that they would commit this kind of fraudulent behavior, but then I as I talked to other driver I found out what the company routinely does.  The company gets rid of perfectly good drivers all the time due to the flimsiest reasons or no reason at all.  This is because they need to relentlessly bring in new drivers so they can be a training company.  They get money or tax breaks from the government for training drivers.  However they don't even have enough miles for the drivers that they already have.  At any rate they fire drivers all the time just to get rid of them so they have an excuse to keep training new drivers (so they can get the government money or tax breaks).  The company is a scam.  They are dishonest and unprofessional.  They have systemic dishonesty issues which can result in deadly accidents (what if a driver falls asleep on the road because he was threatened into driving illegally?).
