This is a warning for all traveling to Cozumel, Mexico to beware of the many timeshares, or as some call, them vacation plans. Some people are happy with the good results they get but not me with Royal Holiday. Many cruise ships stop there and passengers are recruited, in addition to ones who fly in.

My difficulty was that I believed the lies I was told at the sales pitch. Do not believe what they say-make sure of the contract-because they tell you and tell you its there and it is not. Just because they say it is on the next page or form or certificate and we will get there-do not initial or sign that page or pages until you get there and find out finally it is not there.

What was promised is not what was delivered.

I was also told since we were of the privileged first 100. The sign on the wall also told me I was #96. The next day I saw it was 99. The next day it had dropped to 92. The next day 96 again. Usually you are in there only once so you dont see them change it according to their whim. They tell you only 100 but this was just another of the lies.

Now some or maybe all timeshares in Mexico provide a preprinted card telling time share info because of so many unethical, deceptive, fraudulent practices. This is read and then signed so a prospective customer knows these problems from the disreputable companies. Just as Royal Holiday was with me.

I requested cancellation and a refund to the credit card company. I disputed the charges with the credit card company. After the board refused my request for the cancellation and about 20-30 calls and 2 months later, I asked again to put it before the board to reconsider the cancellation.

I would not want dissatisfied, disgusted, disgruntled clients. I would not want a customer so unhappy with my company that they felt they had to tell everyone around them how bad the sales practices are, how their employees are lying to scam you into purchasing, how harrasing the 10 or 20 calls a day are.

This warning should reach hundreds, thousands, could it be millions. Beware of the bad timeshares in Cozumel, Mexico. And do not believe anything that is said until everything said it proven in writing.

Royal Holiday fraud

AUTHOR: Deby - (United States)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 17, 2018

Royal Holiday is one of the most fraudulent resorts, i fell into their lies a few years ago and when i was doing a research about this company i saw a lot of
people posting their horrible reviews against them, it helped me to open my eyes and see the reality of this Resort.
Please be careful, here's a website full with complaints of people who also got scammed by them:

Royal Holiday Timeshare Scam

AUTHOR: DeborahM - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, June 25, 2014

Royal Holiday timeshare doesn’t have the best reputation within the timeshare resorts. Most of their sales are done under high pressure sales tactics, a high number of members at Royal Holiday feel like they have being lied and scam and most timeshare contracts are being misrepresented. One of the most common scams at the moment of purchase is that Royal Holiday’s sales person will make you any verbal promise to get you to sign their contract, however the contract clearly states that any verbal promise made by the sales associated are invalid unless those promises are establish within the contract.
