*UPDATE ..Rip-off Report Investigation - PMI - Rip-off Report gives PMI a positive rating after Professional Marketing International declared its goal to achieve total customer satisfaction & excellent customer service - PMI claimed & continues to demonstrate its sincere desire to clear up any unresolved matters & safeguard against similar issues in the future. We discovered many complaints filed against PMI were meant for another company with a similar name.
I also got scammed by Russ Dalbey and PMI Coaching. My husband thought that this was a great way to be a stay-at-home mom and make extra income. I told him I wasn't sure but would give it a good faith effort. I called to get more information and was immediately told "about the exciting new info-mercial going to be released in our area in the Fall" would I like to be in the special "protege program"? Sure, this no money down program wants $995.00 on the spot. I used my Visa over a so called "taped conversation" with a woman named Misty, who processed by card and then turned me over to Zach who then congradulated me on being one of the chosen few!
He then set me up for my coach John Christensen.. who after two sessions told me how I need to buy leads, postcards, stamps, toll-free numbers etc. oh BTW use his name when ordering---kickbacks.
I gave my money on 7/19/06 and on 8/7/06 called for a refund... got the run around with 6 different numbers and a promise from a woman Katie that I would be called on 8/08/06 or the very lasted on 8/10/06.. No call!! I am going to contact the FTC and A.G. in Ohio. I want my refund!!! If ANN or PMI or who ever you are wish to contact me419-706-8817. You know where I am. Shame on You!

The Colorado AG's Office is in fact investigating Russ Dalbey and his business pracitces. I would suggest you contact Jay Simonson (303-866-5162). He is in charge of the investigation.
Also, I did get my money back from Dalbey. It took a 7-page letter in excruciating detail of what they sold me and what I really got (or should I say didn't get) for my money, but I did get my money back. I would be happy to share that letter if it helps anyone else get their moeny back from this man.

If they are ugly enough to you, you may go away and then they get to keep your money.
You may not get your money back, but you CAN make them REALLY WORK to KEEP it. If you get my drift. Check around here for effective get-your-money-back strategies.
I got a Russ Dalbey booklet in the mail two weeks ago, and I offered it to one and all here but, funny thing, no one wanted it. And I don't have a bird cage to use it in. So I guess I have to toss it in the trash and feel bad about those unfortunate, nameless trees....(sigh).

Just an update. I never got the promised website and the 100 free leads came with 37 repeats... in otherwords I still got ripped off.
I finally got the name of someone in their so-called Resolutions department. Thayne Gooch!! Who refused to refund my money and yelled at me. Told me I was never promised a refund and only had three days to ask for one, which was taped by "Misty".
I asked for a copy of the tape and he told me that I could subpeona it, but would not give it to me. Said he would play the tape over the phone. Tapes can be altered.
I hope everyone out there really checks into stuff. I will in the future. I don't have $995 to throw away.
Russ Dalbey is all over the TV in our area promoting his scam and the scam of personal coaching!! Please, people don't buy into this crap!!
