Sarlow Group Nate Lowens Once again no pay Indianapolis Indiana

I also have worked for The Salow Group on two occassions. It is like pulling teeth to get paid each and every month.

Im writing so others may see this and know what has worked for me.

First thing first...DO NOT do inspections that are assined late! They have the ability to adjust due dates. Under normal circumstances the due date that the contractor sees is not the true date that the inspection is to be submitted to the client. Sarlow gives themseves a 3-4 day window. Otherwise, They can call the client and request an extension. NEVER enter an inspection late if it was assigned late.

In regards to pay. Agreements with Sarlow run from month to month, If you are not paid by the date agreed upon STOP doing inspections and notify Sarlow by email (do everything from this point by email so you have a written record of converstaion) Your agreement is either terminated or renewed each moth with payment/non payment. If you do not recieve payment, you did not quit.....Sarlow broke the agreement. In this case they cannot hold you responsible for "money lost" due to you breaking your "contract" with them.

Also,never allow them to say that they have deducted from your pay due to chargebacks. Sarlow pays your errors and ommissions insurance as part of your agreement (they never tell you that unless you ask). If a chargeback is ever mentioned by the Sarlow staff, request that they forward you a copy of the chargeback issued by the client. Review the chargeback (if its legit?) to see if you made a mistake so you can correct it going forward. Then assure the management staff corrective actions have been taken and request that they file a claim with their errors/ommission insurance carrier.

Another claim The Sarlow Group makes is that their bank did not issue payments on time......I have found this to be false. They will give you some long winded explanation as to the bank not getting checks issued. The whole story is BS! I have never gotten a bank draft check from them, Its always a hand written check.

The most important thing to remember is KEEP GOOD RECORDS! Print all inspctions submitted to the software every month for the specific time period. Print and file all email communications (never agree to ANYTHING in verbal communication)

The Sarlow Group is no longer in Indianapolis.... The address is now 1315 S Raber Rd, Columbia City, In 46725.

Columbia City is in Whitley county. Whitley county clerk of courts can be contacted at 260-248-3119. Whitley county is one of the few Indiana counties that allow small claims up to $6000, with 6 years to file.

For those who are still working for Sarlow I hope this helps. I must say that I have always gotten paid but never on time. Seems to always be some sort of game with these folks...
