AUTHOR: Alvin - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 27, 2010

anyone that sign up for this company is nuts.  I've been with this company for a long time, and haven't made nothing.  go to bbb.org and type in saveavenue.com
and you will see the grade is a big fat f.
I spent my hard earned money on advertisement, and to this day no results.
do not sign up with this company, it's a true rip off.

What a shame

AUTHOR: Monique - (U.S.A.)

To all the prospective clients that allowed, this disgruntled employee to steer you away from a opportunity you can feel good about, with a real product. evidently who ever wrote that was one of 2 things, a mad employee, or failing competition, either way, We have a good, solid business opportunity here, we do not prey on elderly, we do not swindle people out of there savings, and RYAN does not work here, when he did he was in human resources, so PLEASE stop lying to the consumers.

AUTHOR: Dina - (U.S.A.)

I got a phone call from a guy who said he received a lead that I expressed interest in a Home Based Business. I indicated that it was true and he went on to tell me what a great opportunity I had and if he could have a few minutes of my time to explain. I told him that before I wasted his time and mine that I was a single parent who was not prepared to invest what little money I had to anyone. He replied that it was not a problem and that if I just listened to this 8 minute introduction about the business I will be pleasantly surprised. I agreed and it all sounded like the same "BS" to me and just way too good to be true.

The guy came back to the phone and said "Didnt I tell you what a great opportunity it is?" I told him it all sounds promising but Im still concerned about a few things in particular start up costs. He said his leader would talk all that over with me and I would not be disappointed. I thought to myself why not this guy sounds nice enough and he really seems to want to help me even after knowing my financial and personel status. Well right before he transfers me he says that he was grateful to talk with me and "Oh one last thing, do you have a checking account or valid credit card?" I nearly lost my breath but managed to say yes for some strange reason(I totally ignored this red flag)!

I then start talking with a woman who is pleasant but very aggressive and persuasive. Even though I couldnt afford the start up packages right off, I did have my credit card that she kept trying to persuade me to use. I have to say she was very prepared to deal with anything that was posed to her over the phone as far as concerns about the company. She was convincing even though she sounded too practiced.

Nonetheless I told her I would love to give this a try since I had nothing to lose per her words and that I was guaranteed all my money back in one year if I was unsatisfied. I pulled out my credit card and was getting ready to give this totally elated woman over the phone my information when my other phone rang. I normally would have let the machine pick it up but something about the timing struck me as it rang right at the minute I told her I had a mastercard and the # is .... That was when I said if she could call me back in a few minutes so that I could return the call that came in. She then sounded more hurried in her voice and said it would only take a few minutes and wanted to get everything from me then. I told her I really needed to take this call and I would call back in 10mins. She did sound really worried in a way that I might not call back. She then tried to distract me and ask for my credit card number again because she didnt get it all the first time. I told her that I never gave it to her to begin with only that I had a mastercard.

She says she would hate for me to miss this great opportunity to make lots of money without doing a lot of work. I told her I just didnt think it was that simple and she said nothing could be further from the truth. Before I got heated I said goodbye and will call back if I want. She didnt sound too happy with me after realizing the ball was no longer in her court.

Thats when I thought to check out ripoff report and the BBB for complaints on Save Avenue. Well to my disappointment and relief I saw all the complaints on ripoff and worse the BBB has it classified as "Unsatisfactory Status" and that they have left numerous complaints unanswered. Oh by the way I have checked on some of the websites of people who bought into this business and the sites look very cheap and basic. If I was a unknowing customer, I would not buy from those sites. The products arent all name brands and the selections were very poor. Shipping and handling too were ridiculous!

Thanks again ripoff for helping people think before going into something that could potentially but them in a major hole.
