Where do I start? My husband has had an account with them since last March. He bought a Chevy Camaro w/insurance through the company at 18.5% interest.

Last October he was in an auto accident and immediately filed a claim with the company. He was told by Robert Garcia that a claims adjuster would stop by to asses the damage. After a couple of weeks went buy with no word from Mr.Garcia my husband assumed they would not accept his claim.

In December of last year my husband was in yet another auto accident. Shortly after that (3 days) my husband was deployed to assist in Operation Enduring Freedom.

He returned home in July and we immediately began to file the second claim. We faxed all the neccesary paper work to Rober Garcia and waited.

Finally by the begining of August I called Mr. Garcia to check on the status of the claim. He informed me that his insurance company (who would only deal with SeaWest employers) was not returing his calls and the representative was on vacation. I request the phone number for the insurance company at which time he denied me access.

The next week with still no word about the claim I called Mr. Garcia again, this time he did give me the insurance company's phone number.

I made contact with Ms. Rodriguez from the insurance co. She informed me that they had recieved no calls from SeaWest about this claim. I asked if she was sure so she went into the system to check.

She came back on the phone and said "Yes we did issue a check in November for $2550.00."

Turns out SeaWest did file the claim from the first accident in October.

I immediately got off the phone and called Mr. Garcia to ask about the check. When he said he didn't know what I was talking about I asked to speak to his supervisor. Mr. Martinez got on the phone and after explaining why I was upset he told me "If you do not shut up I will not help you." I was stunned and said that I would like to speak to his supervisor at which time he informed me that he was the supervisor and the only one who would help, then insisted that he would ingore future calls unless I "shut up."

My husbands car is still in the shop waiting (it's nearly November) and waiting on both checks from both insurance claims.

I called yesterday asking why my husbands account wasn't in accordance with the Soldiers and Sailors Civil Relief Act when he was depolyed and the insisted that it didn't apply to him (an active duty military member).

I am leaving for my deployment in support of Operation of Enduring Freedome and am all to sorry that I can't stay around to see if/when their thieving buisness colapses. Please help me to keep them from duing/saying these same things to others.
