Secured Benefits Connection Beware if this company interviews you for a job position. Yelling, curse words, calling me names, insulting my resume and after I terminated the call because of the unprofessional behavior on her behalf, she called me back to yell and call me more names!!! I am horrified!! Minneapolis Minnesota

Please beware of Secured Benefits Connection if you are looking for a stay at home job.  They want you to work for them but they also won't hire you unless you enroll in a monthly drafted fee for a product that their salesman sell.  I have never worked for a company where the requirements include purchasing their products or you don't make money.  I listened very carefully to the introduction overhaul but the speaker also had me on mute, so I wasn't able to ask any questions.  I decided to move forward with the hiring process because the incentive package plus staying at home sounded great, but I still had one question.  I got a second phone interview.  A lady who called herself Lori called and gave me her speach and asked if I had any questions.  I did have one question.  Why is it a requirement that I purchase and pay monthly for a product that I am not having to sell?  I told her it was a red flag to me and I needed more explanation than I was given before I move forward with the hiring process.  She began to tell me that I "pissed her off" by asking about that when it was explained during the introduction.  Let me remind you I was on mute and not able to ask questions during the introduction.  I told her that I wasn't trying to offend her and it was just a question, I needed more information before having to enroll in a program for 39.99 a month for a product I don't need and never will.  She began calling me a child and yelling curse words.  I just sat at my computer shocked.  I told her the conversation was over and hung up. Lori called my personal phone number back and started yelling at me again. I put her on speaker phone so my husband could hear the way I was being spoken to. After I told her she was on speaker, she terminated the phone call. I have never been treated so unprofessionally in my whole working career.  She claims to be an owner of the company.  I am proud to say that I didn't lower myself to her level and kept my calm and stayed professional.  I don't want anyone else to waste their time on this company, or be verbally attacked by Lori. I choose not to state her last name. Please stay away from this company for employment.

I have never heard of this company. I see there are other complaints against them online and they have an F rating with the BBB.  It is a good thing for you that instead of answering your question professionally, the employee became abusive. Now you know they aren't anything you want to associate with! Aren't you relieved you did not give them any money! I would have laughed out loud at the idea that I was going to pay 39.99 for a job. That is not how it works. People seeking employment are looking to get paid, not the other way around!
