Ive been working for securitas for little over a year now, i was recently promoted to supervisor, which in my opinion was a dumb mistake, since ive started with this company, ive seen nothing but discrimination against workers. Its actually the exact opposite, if your white, your screwed. Ive seen guards and supervisors passed out at their posts, when filing a complaint, your singled out and everything is brought down on you.
I have been under fire for filing a harassment complaint against my employer ( i was to be fired for showing up at 3:01pm when my shift starts at 3:00pm) while im never relieved on time, usually on average i get out 5-10 minutes late every day, the man relieving me filed one complaint against me cuz i was that 1 minute late, he signed up for a double, i was suspended two weeks without pay and demoted. If you have any common sense, dont work for this company its the biggest mistake i ever made

Actually, color has NOTHING to do with it because EVERYBODY is treated like yesterday's trash in private security guard contracting companies and SECURITAS is one of the WORST!
It is all in Rip off Report --TRUE AND FACTUAL.
i THINK THE TRUTH ABOUT PRIVATE SECURITY CONTRACTORS IS GETTING OUT AND FEWER PEOPLE ARE WILLING TO BE VICTIMIZED BY WORKING FOR THEM AND BEING RIPPED OFF. IT'S A LOT LIKE BEING FLUSHED DOWN A TOILET EXCEPT YOU PROBABLY MEET BETTER THINGS IN A SEWER.
I THINK THAT PEOPLE WHO WANT TO HIRE SECURITY GUARD CONTRACTING COMPANIES AS A SOURCE OF PROTECTION AND EXPECTING HONOR, LOYALITY, HONESTY AND INTEGRITY AND DUE DILIGENCE WILL REALIZE THAT NO INTIMIDATED,UNDERPAID, ABUSED AND EXPLOITED SECURITY GUARD WHICH IS WHAT THESE MEGACOMPANIES HIRE WILL GIVE MUCH OF A d**n ABOUT PROTECTING ANYTHING.
ARE YOU AS A NEAR-MINIMUM WAGE GUARD IN A CHEAP POLYESTER SUIT GOING TO DIE FOR PEOPLE WHO DON'T GIVE A d**n ABOUT YOU AND DON'T EVEN CARE IF YOU HAVE AFFORDABLE HEALTH INSURANCE AND ARE PROBABLY SKIMMING YOUR MEAGER PAYCHECK TOO?
SECURITAS IS BASED IN SWEDEN.
JUST LIKE THE WACKENHUT CORPORATION IS BASED IN DENMARK!
DO YOU THINK THEY REALLY CARE MORE ABOUT HOW AMERICAN WORKERS ARE TREATED OR ANYTHING BUT THE BOTTOM LINE?
