Before closing on our house we paid sentinel to dewinterize the house so we could pay a inspector to come in and tell us if the plumbing was okay, the water heater, furnace, if there were leaks in the bathroom, laundry room, kitchen, etc.

unfortunately, sentinel did a crappy job and broke pieces so when the water was turned on it was spraying and leaking in three separate rooms, so I paid the inspector and sentinel for nothing. When we contacted sentinel, they told us they would investigate the situation. The person I dealt with is Jeff Parker, he was nearly impossible to get ahold of, gave me the run around, we emailed him, called, texted, he eventually told us that it would either be fixed before we closed, or we would receive a $500 credit at the closing of our home to hire someone to fix it. Lies! at closing we received nothing. So we are out the money we paid sentinel, out the money we paid the inspector, out the money to repair. But also, they were supposed to manage this property. The grass was never cut, there was water never cleaned up in the basement, the place was a mess. I'm not sure if they were in charge of the lead abatement, but that was a mess as well. Terrible to deal with. I'm now moving into a home with no running water yet, this should a of been fixemover a month ago!
