I would love to give everyone an update.
I actually worked for this slime bag. He came to our little community of Fort St. James, BC on October 2019. He proceeded to take over a restaurant located in The View Hotel that he called The Waters Edge.I am very pleased to say that we were able to figure out who he was. Mind you he was here as Shane Brody , from Regina Saskatchewan. Married & divorced twice & in the restaurant industry for 30 years.
He was arrested as of October 19th. Among his charges of fraud he has been charged with 2 counts of Sexual Harassment against
2 staff members.
After not providing paystubs, refusing to hook up the POS to track orders, having to write orders manually,not paying overtime, not paying taxes, keeping the cash from restaurant sales & continuously being an a*****e. It didn’t take long for us to figure out that he was thieving & up to no good.He is in jail now but I’m pretty sure he will probably be released soon to run again & screw over another establishment.As well you can probably figure it out that none of the staff were paid their last pay period.
For now he is in jail.He has a court date on January 23rd. either in Fort St James or Prince George, most likely Prince George. There is a possibility that he won’t show up but all the staff definitely will be there.
Just wanted to share this with you. Hope it brings a smile to everyone’s day. I know it sure brought a smile to mine.
