Shawn Brennan, CMPS Mortgage Modification SCAM!!!! Simi Valley California

Shawn Brennan came to my home on December 10, 2008. He presented himself as a Loan Modifaction Specialist and that he could modify our loan and reduce our mortgage. He sat at my diningroom table, met my kids and sold my husband and I on his services. He said he could reduce our principal, have all late payment history removed and would throw in his credit repair service at no charge. We agreed to his service and then were asked for a check for half the service fee. He explained that alot of clients were not paying him and that he could no longer do services without half upfront. My husband and I wrote Mr. Brennan a check for $3500.00 (that months mortgage payment).

The next day, I went to Mr. Brennans house and dropped off all the necessary information he had requested and was assured that this would take 60-90 days. Every week I contacted Shawn via email, faxed the necessary information he requested, and he would respond that he was working on it.

On Feb 4th is when I realized Shawn was doing nothing with our loan. He stopped returning phone calls and had excusses in every email. Eventually the emails stopped and I had not alternative but to take Mr. Brennan to Small Claims Court. I am scheduled for small Claims court on May 11th 2009.

Please do not be a victim to this scam. I found this website after the fact and want to let anyone that is considering working with this man, he is a theif and will not provide you the service he is promising.
