ShopJimmy Was convinced that the wrong part was the fix by tech support Burnsville MInnesota
Contacted ShopJimmy looking for a PSU for a television I am trying to repair. Was told by their technician that it was probably not the PSU, was likely the Y-Main and/or Y-Buffers. They did not have the PSU, or Y-Main. Ordered the Y-Buffers from them, and the Y-Main from another company. Installed all three parts and the problem has not changed in the slightest. Returned the Y-Main with no questions from other company, however ShopJimmy apparently has a problem returning $48 worth of two parts because it falls under the (very odd) "Its under $25 so we don't accept returns". Well now I am out the money and have two boards that I have no idea what to do with. Returned the other parts (that I bought at their suggestion) and lost 20% on that too.
Just an annoying problem all around and the TV is still not fixed, thanks to ShopJimmy.
