On March 23, 2007 my husband saw SpectronIQ 37" LCD HDTV & 300 Watt Home Theater System. He ordered the item and then he receives a notice of denial of credit. ShopNBC has file for credit without any personal information and refuse to use current credit card. Husband used my credit card and order was place without any questioning of name on charge card. Also ordered installation with bracket and when it came time to have installation company refuse to install because ShopNBC had not paid for installation which had been installed. So vendor informs me to let ShopNBC know that vendor does not service my area.

So vendor conference call ShopNBC and what a fiasco. Finally I was informed that the onbly way I would get my refund is if I return the bracket. I return the bracket via UPS to the address provided from ShopNBC and get confirmation of delivery.

Two (2) weeks later I get a notice from a collection agency stating that my husband owes $55.22 for the bracket which was returned. Collection agency informs me to call ShopNBC. ShopNBC states that tehy did not receive the bracket, I provided them with UPS confirmation number and delivery. Once they confirmed that it was deliverd I received a message stating that the bracket was returned back to me so we are still responsible for the amount due. Unbelieveable. All this took place from March 2007 -June 2007. Now I have a bracket which I don't need because I had to get a company to install the unit.

Keep away from ShopNBC are very rude and have no sense of customet service. No one knows what to do and when you ask for a superior they keep you on eternal hold.

So many complaints. First she complains about her husband being denied credit. Then she complains because her husband used HER card and shopnbc accepted HER card information without verifing any of her information. I think she has some problems with her husband using her card without her knowledge, MAYBE. Which is a valid complaint. Then she complains because her husband ordered installion from shopnbc but the installion company refused to install because installion company doesn't service that area. Another valid complaint.

Only way to get a refund is to return bracket. She sends bracket back to shopnbc via UPS, who then turns her over to collections for not returning bracket. That shouldn't be too hard to prove IF you have delivery confirmation. Then she states she has proof that they received the bracket yet states SHE has the bracket???? which she doesn't need, now I'm confuzed. This whole post is full of confuzing and conflicting information.
