I thought the Side Socket would be great as an electrical outlet space saver. However, the tactics and lack of honesty in ordering this item was apparent once the order was placed.
The ad states, "When ordering today, you will receive the Side Socket for just $10.00 plus $7.95 P&H, plus we will include a second Side Socket for FREE. Sales tax may apply. LIFETIME MONEY BACK GUARANTEE (minus P&H).

As you can see, I thought I would be paying $17.95 plus a little more sales tax for the additional unit. This is not the case! Discounted Side Socket??? I thought I was getting a second one for FREE!?
After the order was placed and I saw the price difference, I phoned Customer Service and spoke to a Terry (female). She said she couldn't help as the order needs a couple hours. She requested I call back in a few hours (E.S.T.) to cancel which will be approximately 11:00 AM P.S.T (my time).
I will never order anything this is NOT sold in stores. These type ads are come on's and take advantage of people in a very sneaky unethical way!

Update regarding Side Socket report filed earlier this morning.
I finally found the Marketing Firm that is promoting this item. Here is the information for those that cannot find a phone, email or any contact information to call, contact or cancel an order.
I contacted this Marketing Group, spoke to a Customer Service Rep. by the name of Bruce and was able to cancel the order in its' entirety.

I would advise that you NEVER buy anything through a TV advertisement. Your experience is how they all work. Some are even worse. I don't know why they aren't illegal.
If you do some searching you will find that several legitimate companies make and sell this type of power strip that won't rip you off.
