My monthly subscription fee I signed up for was 6.00/month. back in 2012... I never approved any other rate. for the first year they charged me the correct rate. Yesterday April 4, 2018 (5 years later) I sold my car and needed to cancel my subscription and that's when I found out for over 5 years they have been billing me at a rate that was 3X more than what I had agreed to. When I challenged them on my rate they said it was in the small print. I let them know I signed up over the phone and never received an actual contract. She said I should have looked on the website. Not sure I will ever get my money back but all I can say is these guys are scammers BEWARE!

I am not employed by and have never been employed by SiriusXM. I have no vested interest in SiriusXM.
Be sure to check your billing statements to ensure you aren’t overpaying for your Fruit-of-the-Month subscription, Superhero magazines and online porno.
You chose not to read their invoices or check your credit card billing statement so yes this is 100% your fault.

Sirius is Big Scam

Your premise is that its my fault that you overbilled me. This is the typical rebuttal of an unethical company. Firstly, in my world a contract is where both parties agree to terms. Of which I did not. The fact that I would have to dig into a website that I never go to seek out your terms blows me away. I guess I am just use to dealing with ethical companies and typically I don't worry that I am going to get taken advantage of. Why I am at fault is that I shouldn't have trusted SiriusXM. So, you are right its my fault.
Your response to the rebuttal is just warped business logic and certainly shows me how little value you place on your customers. If you would have said that I agreed to the terms of a contract and could show that I had approved the billing rate then I would buy into your logic that it was my fault. But since there was never a chance to have that type of contractual terms you feel you can charge me whatever you want and if I don't catch you then its my fault. Do you see this line of thinking as logical?
I am shocked that a business like SiriusXM would have even used this line of defense. Your rebttlal speaks volumes about SirisusXM 's character and culture of your company. I am sure there are multitudes of patsy's like me out there that have been bulldozed by your company's unethiical practices for a long time. Just Google your company and see how well the public responds to your business tactics.

The terms and rate increase were certainly noted in the SiriusXM invoices that you never read. You were not scammed or overcharged. You agreed to the terms and rate increase by not canceling your account.
Perhaps you should review your credit card statements a bit more frequently.
