If you have seen a Sleep Doctor advertisment before you will hear Roger at the end say "We'll beat any advertised price or its freeeeeeee" in his
girlish voice, he also has the same girlish laugh, this little tee hee when ever one of his slaes people get a sale with alot of "overage" left in the mattress.
"Overage" is the hundreds of dollars built into the mattress for extra profit.

Any mattress company will have a profit margin around 40% but at the Sleep Doctor, Mr.Greed or Roger Wardell the owner is not happy with anything under 70% profit, this is a fact. Not very honest for someone who protrays
himself as a upstanding Christian. You should be ashamed Roger.

Now back to his low coil count, over stuffed cheap mattresses. The private label brand they carry called "Europia" is made by IBC or International Bedding Co. is so cheap that two average adults will roll together in the middle, feel each other move and when you sit on the side to get in there is no support due to a low number of coils, this is why the side saggs so bad. The cost of these mattresses are under four hundred dollars, yet they sell for fifteen hundred
to twenty five hindred dollars with "compare at prices" of three thousand to five thousand dollars.

If you do buy one of these over priced, low quality
mattresses, expect to have all kinds of problems trying to get it replaced. You will have nightmares just like many many who have been taken advantage of with "smoke and mirror" sales tricks and lies.

I have also been ripped off by sleep doctor

I want to add my own experience with sleep doctor. I bought a mattress from the location at Northland Drive in Grand Rapids, and was treated terribly after the mattress that we ordered began having problems after 40 days of usage. The salesman gave us heck about switching it out for a new one under the warranty, and on top of that we were sold several pillows that were never delivered (and yet we were charged for them). They screwed up our order in the computer so that when it came time to look it up again in the computer it showed that we had not paid or received them, so no problem. What they ended up doing was increasing the cost of the mattress (adding the value of the pillows) and "giving" us the pillows, meaning that we had no proof of ever paying for the pillows and thus were not able to exchange the obviously flawed pillows (or at the least take advantage of the manufactures warranty that requires proof of purchase). In the end I will never do business with these guys again, and am not surprised that half of their stores are gone (even with this economy they deserve to go bankrupt). And I am not going to retract this comment, the owner of the company loves coming onto this website and filling rebuttals saying that "the customer is now completely satisfied"....if that happens I will come on here and do it myself, don't believe the bullshit owner or his minions of unethical salesmen.

Reader Beware,

I believe that the internet is a great tool for interested consumers, but unfortunately at times can be a platform for disgruntled former employees and competitors.

Not only do these blog sites not check the sources or the validity of the claims, most do not respond to the concerns of legitimate companies who would be potentially hurt by those claims unless a formal lawsuit is filed.
