I googled Avast Anti Virus on my new computer and was trying to download and subscribe to Avast. I do not know how i ended up software pros website. Nothing on the website even showed software pros. The whole time i was thinking i was subscribing to Avast giving them my CC info and a few days later i noticed a charge in the amount of $99.95 from Software Pros. I clicked on my avast program and noticed i still have the free version of Avast. I was extremely upset and send an email to software pros because they don't have a phone number or even a physical address. I did not hear back from them after a day and called my credit card and file a unauthorize charge from Software Pros. They emailed me back 3 days later stating i subscribe to their service which i downloaded Avast myself without anyone holding my hands and which the software is free. They did not in any shape or form assist me or provided any services for me. I don't think i should pay any company for doing nothing. I also contacted Avast anti virus about this matter and they can not doing anything about companies pretending to be Avast. All Avast can do is report this matter to their upper management. I responded to Software Pros again with cancelation and they simply told me i should have known what i sign up for and our service isn't free. I was like "WHAT SERVICE !!!!". I responded with a charge back and they responded with this "All unsubstantiated and/or fraudulent chargeback requests will be prosecuted and collected to the furthest extent of the law under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)."

So i'm getting charged $99.95 for downloading a free Avast software. I'm freaking speechless !!!!

We need to put these scammers at Software pros out of business.
