Stamps.com is in business to lure the small business man into a web of deception. This company started out by mailing me an offer that was lets say reasonable. The promotion stated that this would be a trial and a free u.s.p.s scale comes with the promotion. (The scale caught my attention) After reading through thoroughly I committed to this offer providing my credit card information etc. After getting to the last prompt before processing the order I was told there will be a $9.95 postage and handling charge for the scale. Red flags...I should have been given this information before you got my credit card information. Of course I was upset and immediately canceled this account via of email because there was no contact number available. Mind you this was 3 weeks ago..Yesterday August 6, 2013 I noticed a withdrawl of $15.95 from my account. I called the bank and then I called stamps.com. and was told I was suppose to terminate my account verbally. Wow...I was't verbal when you took that credit card information. Beware of this professional SCAM company!!!
