Star Furniture Pathetic customer service Katy Texas

We basically bought all our furniture from Star and the salesperson was hugs and kisses till the end when he actually had to do some work. They delivered the wrong chair 1x, delivered a broken chair 1x not to mention when we called in to speak with them you have to talk to that specific salesperson who sold you. Typically, when you have a problem you talk with a manager but at Star you are pushed back to the salesperson..who is selling and can rarely come to phone and in my opinion does not care about servicing an old account he has already been paid on. i must say to be fair they did bring 2 chairs for my X-mas part with different fabric but better than nothing.

I eventually got a manager after calling for 3 days in a row and he was extremely cavalier and he really acted like he could care less. It took over 6 months to get my chairs for our table.

They tried 2x to bill me after 5 months or so and i had waited 6 months to get my chairs ! The deal i got was no interest/no payments for 12 months--however they billed me and they had their collection dept call me at work several times. Good try on their part and they said the salesperson had to fix this ! He was an absolute flunkie although the manager said he was one of the best --tells you what kind of people work there !
As a clincher..the no interest..no payment for 12 months deal is a scam as well. Read the fine print or ask. They DO NOT SEND you a bill so if you skip a payment by simply forgetting you are doomed. Go ahead and try to call them in this dept and see how much time that takes and what an absolute nightmare that is. Bottomline....DO NOT do business with these people unless you go the the scratch/dent discontinued store on 610 and 45, there you buy it at a 50% discount and you either pick it up right there or they arrange for delivery within the week.

I told the manager i would never do biz with his store again and he did not care whatsoever. This town is waaay to small for a store like this.
