This company offered an "OXO Good Grips" 3-in-1 avocado peeler at a very low price.  It was 2 for $10, when the normal price was over $10 for one.  I ordered a set of 2, and about a week and a half, later I received it.

After opening the package, I first noticed that it appears to have been scuffed and damaged in transit.  There was no other wrapping other than the shipping bag.

Upon closer inspection, I noticed the plastic was very rough, and not finished properly.  If I tried to use it, I would have actually cut myself on the rough plastic pieces sticking out.

This didn't look like the quality that OXO Good Grips usually provides, as I have many of their kitchen utensils.  I checked the item for the OXO trademark and didn't see it.  I then called OXO to find out if this is their product, and they confirmed that it was NOT their product.  Their products ALWAYS have their OXO trademark, and the company from which it was purchased does NOT have their product.

I then contacted (via email) staytrendy.com, and had to send photos of the issues with the cheap knock-off to them.  After a couple of back and forth emails, and after letting them know that I KNEW this item was COUNTERFEIT, they decided to credit my charge card for the amount I paid.

Now, they are claiming that the item was just a "generic" peeler, and it was not advertised as "OXO Good Grips".  They changed their ad, and deleted the original page.  Thankfully, I saved a screen-shot of their original ad with the "OXO Good Grips" name.

I am now assisting OXO with getting this item, as well as the information for staytrendy.com, so they can STOP internet companies from ripping off companies with CHEAP KNOCK-OFFS. 

It's really a shame that THOUSANDS of people have ordered this item, and they have ALL been ripped off as well as the OXO company.  OXO makes wonderful products, and anyone buying this cheap knock-off will think less of OXO.

Don't buy ANYTHING from this company.
