Straight Talk Wireless SCAM, Refusal of Refund after 2 days of purchase, Defective Merchandise, No cell reception even when outside Miami Florida

 Bought two phones online directly from Straight Talk with "overnight shipping" August 2nd. Money was taken out of my account immediatly. Didn't receive phones until Thursday August 8th. (there are no clearly no holidays for a delay) After activation they still didn't work. Had to call technical support to "update profiles". Next day phones are not making calls. I'm outside in the middle of a highway with no service. I tried calling someone and it dropped the call 4 times before I gave up. There is so much static and echoing I can't even make out what the receipient is saying. Saturday comes. Now neither phone is taking a charge. Tried switching batteries. No luck. "Technical support" tried fixing it again and neither still worked.

They told us to take the phones in for a refund or to exchange at the nearest Walmart location. Since we didn't buy the phones from Walmart but from Straight Talk which is "affiliated" with Walmart they couldn't take them back. Wasted my gas and time driving there for no reason. Customer service had no response after we told them Walmart wouldn't do anything. I asked for a manager. They refused to give me one. I asked for corporate's number. Sat on the phone for 2 hours trying to reason with them. Also had the nice Walmart electronics guy talk to them to try and mediate and the corporate was rude to him too!

I asked for a refund since I only had the phones 2 DAYS! They refused. Told me to "read the fine print" and when I told them that's not a good enough answer told me "Well what are you going to do about it?".

I contacted the BBB to complain and also tried emailing and calling corporate again.

DON'T BUY FROM STRAIGHT TALK THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND SEND YOU BROKEN DEVICES!!!
