My sister order a bunch of things from their website. She order from India and wanted to ship the order locally to me in Atlanta. Sugarcraft immediately charged the credit card but refused to ship the order even after my sister sent her tax card (equivalent of Social Security card)!

After several attempts to get in touch with them to switch to my credit card if they had issues with hers, I finally was able to speak with Sue.

I asked Sue to cancel the order. Sue said that my sister would have to e-mail them and they would cancel the order (ofcourse with the 3% fee). I asked her how they could charge the card and not ship the order. She said that was the legal agreement my sister signed with them but submitting the order and that I could talk to her lawyers if needed. I told Sue I was a lawyer upon which she accused me of lying and threatened to sue to for lying. She had my phone number on caller ID, which she asked her associate to research while I was talking to her. Very threatening behavior. I will be happy to respond to any lawsuit. I was not lying... I am an attorney.

International Order

As the world is expanding and moving to a global economy, many orders are now received from overseas. This is great for us and our customers, however, this also presents many new challenges. Accepting international credit cards provides our customers the ability to quickly and easily order items. Unfortunately, there is a small group that uses the international cards to engage in fraud. We take credit card fraud very seriously and use an extra precaution called the Address Verification System (AVS) to help protect our customers. The additional safeguards sometimes create confusion or delay. It also is done by a processor to help eliminate employees from receiving customer's credit card details, however with a processor, the card is charged instantly through the internet. To prevent any surprises, we post our Terms of Service on our website with clear information that is required to open an account when using an International card. As an additional safeguard, we do not discuss confidential information with anyone other than the original customer. We are sorry that we could not satisfy you in this situation and hope you will provide us the opportunity to fully meet your future needs.

Reason I was so mad...

The credit card was charged 10 days ago but items were not shipped. Then I got the response stated above when I finally was able to get through to "customer service".
