I too am in the process of being ripped off by Summit Source for their 15% cancellation fee and now they are trying to charge me a $50 chargeback fee. I canceled an order the next business day after placing it, because I found out the item I wanted was not in stock and they could not provide me an estimated shipping date.
When they said they were going to charge me a 15% cancellation fee, I filed a dispute with my credit card Co. and they entirely agreed that I did not owe any fees to Summit. My credit card Co. entirely agreed that I did not owe any fees and that they would credit my account. Then Summit sends me a letter and a bill for the 15% cancellation fee and a $50 Credit card chargeback fee and tell me that they will forward the clain to their "national collection agency". I am currently checking with my attorney to see what my options are available to prevent them from making a negative entry on my credit report. STAY AWAY from Summit Source !
