Summitt Energy Scammed Mississauga Ontario

Totaly ripped off from Summitt Energy. I dont even understand how this is legal. I am sure it is not, but unless you have the resources to prove them wrong I guess you are screwed. A guy came to are door saying he was from local utility, because of smart meters coming into effect we needed to sign a paper, wich basicly looked like a petition. White paper, with black lines and you sign beside your name. He also took a copy of our bill, I guess that was our mistake but he had a stack from around the neighbourhood so we figured he was who he said he was. Well four months later we have them on our bill, and our bill has doubled. The worst part we never signed anything but that piece of paper on the clipboard. We know dam well that we did not, and we never recieved anything from them.

I got a hold of Ontario Energy Board on March 16,Today I recieved a package finaly in the mail, with a supposed copy of a contract my husband signed, and a cd. I will guarantee anyone out there they are both fakes, but the OBE tells me it is my responsiblity to prove it, because they are in good standing. Like I know people that do CSI stuff, and try looking for someone in the phonebook. I looked on the BBC site for Canada and the rating is F. Now how can a company in good standing have a F rating? I was also given a nice letter that if I want out of this contract that was forged they have no problem doing that for seven hundred and sixteen dollars!!! My next hydro bill is due any day and I hate to see it, family of three and the last one was five hundred dollars!!!Nothing more than legalized crooks!!!Please help me catch these theifs!
