SUNDANCE VACATIONS Tri State Financial, Travel Advantage Network ,TAN, I am being held hostage to a contract that I requested to cancel within 24 hours of signing Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania

My wife and I were told we won a free cruise from SUNDANCE VACATIONS. We went in to listen to a presentation and to pick up the documentation we needed to book the cruise. After listening to them we were pressured by not 1 but 2 individual to purchase this vacation membership. Each time we said no they brought the price down but they were by no means going to let us out of the chair without getting something. There was loud music playing and many conversations going all at the same time. 

We signed on for the smallest package they offered and went home. While home we were able to look over everything given to us. That is when we noticed that the information they told us out of their mouth was in contradictory to what was actually written in this LONG contract.

The very next morning we called to cancel this contract. Again, we were transferred from one person to another who kept trying to get us to keep the package by lowering the amount of weeks and prices even further. However, this time we were not going to be bullied. We held firm with our desire to cancel. We were told they would be sending us a cancellation form to our email within the hour.

When we didnt recieve the email we wrote out our desire to cancel and emailed it to them, faxed it to them and sent it via certified mail.

We have continued to get harrassing emails from them and now they are refusing to cancel the contract unless we sign a RELEASE AGREEMENT.  We do not feel comfortable signing anything else from these unethical scam artist.

I am fully aware that there is a FEDERAL LAW that allows me to cancel this contract within a 3 - 7 day window UNCONDITIONALLY.  I have done so but they are still refusing to cancel and return my cash deposit.
