EDitor's UPDATED info 2-20-04: Rip-off Report is still receiving complaints that they are not receiving the refunds as promised. Rip-off Report has been in contact with the Company and has made them aware of these issues. They have assured us that refunds are being given to those who are providing them with all the correct contact information requested by them. They have also provided confirmation/proof of over 2,600 refunds to date, on a spreadsheet, and Rip-off Report staff called and verified more than a dozen consumers at random, all very angry & outraged, but, they all did get their refund. The company again apologized for the delay and reported that credit to your account could take as long as 4-5 days. As we understand it, this company only does the processing for all the other companies, so they are at the mercy of those companies funds, further delaying your refund.

Rip-off Report is hoping they will live up to what they have promised, we think they will, ..we'll see. Rip-off Report will continue to investigate more into this situation, and we will eventually post an UPDATE to the main Report at this web address: https://www.ripoffreport.com/view.asp?id=76605

I just want to say that superior benefits is a low down cheatin company who wants to scam people, and take peoples hard earned money.

I had been applying for credit cards on the net to try to get my credit started. I am a 20 year old woman who just got out of school and was just starting credit.

I recieved a phone call on January 3, 2004 from a credit card company (or what i thought was a good company) they said that I had been approved for a credit card (visa or mastercard) that had up to a 2,000 dollar credit line. I was excited until they told me to give them my account # so that i could pay the one time fee of 299.00 to them. I was very skeptical and told them I was just starting out and that i did not wanna get ripped off.

Did they care? well, they acted like they did! But in reality they were planning to take my 299.00 and give me nothin in return.

I gave in and they took 299.00 out of my account on January 20 , 2004. After they did I called them and they said that they would ship me my card in 15 to 20 business days.

Well as of today on January 24, 2004 I hadn't received anything so I called the number and asked them what was goin on. I knew that I had been ripped off because I had read other reports from people about the company and the same exact thing happened to them.

Well when I finally got through to someone, she told me that my package was shipped out. I had read about someone in my situation on this site and they said that the company sent them a package of bull that did not consist of their credit card.

I asked the lady what came in the package and she said that the card did not but insurance, vacation, and prescription discounts did. I was furious!! I told her that I did not pay 299.00 for that and that I wanted my card. She told me that the bank that had approved me would send me something to sign and return in the mail! I don't believe that for a minute!

I am so very hurt and upset! I have never been so disgusted by a company! I feel like they have totally taken advantage of me and I feel like there has to be somethin that I can do!! Please help someone!! Anyone that can help please please! Tell me what I can do!

I saw that the site was helping people get refunds from that company. And I despretely need help in dealing with this dishonest company!!!

well today is march 16 2004 and today my bank credited the 299.00 back to my account so i am very pleased! although i am still kinda upset that it was my bank that is paying me my refund and not the dirty company superior benefits. they should be the ones to have to pay. but ne ways i am very pleased that i have finally recieved my refund after my long wait! dont give up anyone keep on them and your bank your bank has to reverse the transaction. thank god i had a wonderful bank who asked me no un neccessary ?'s and gave me my money with no problem!!

well i have not heard from the owner of the company even after many inquirments through emails to benefitsbiz@hotmail.com!!! i even tried to contact the company again and speak to a supervisor but all they tell me is that it is non refundable and is not their problem and i get hung up on!!! so i decided to call my bank and i have now got the federal reg. E form mailed out to me to send back in for the bank to reverse the scam transaction of 299.00, so after i fill that out and mail it back to them they will start to dispute hopefully and i will get my well deserved refund!but it will be my bank and not the low down lieing company!!! dont give up anyone!! i am doin everything i can !! if this dont work i will take the company to court!! i dont care what i have to do! 299.00 is alot of money to throw away!!!
