I was looking for an extra fitted sheet to go with the Vera Wang linens I purchased at Bloomingdale's.  As this collection was discountinued, I searched the internet for one.
Swanky came up, and even though the price was only 25% off retail, I ordered a fitted sheet from them.

The sheet that came was wadded-up and stuffed into a plastic bag that was then taped shut.  Inside I found a flawed sheet with a damage ticket from Bloomingdale's, writing it out of stock.
When I contacted Swanky, they told me that everything they sell comes without the original packaging.  They forgot to throw away the damage ticket.  They said the damage ticket only means that they don't have the original packaging.

Since I regularly shop at Bloomingdale's, I asked if they use damage tickets to indicate that an item is missing the packaging.  They said, "absolutely not, the damage ticket means the item is damaged."

If you want damaged merchandise, shop swanky, which is anything but swanky!

They would not refund even part of the purchase price.

Last week I purchased an items from Swanky's an Amythest Kantra Quilt. The quilt was folded perfect and nicely put in the box with a document with a description of the items that I purchased. 

The items far exceeded my expectations on quality and comfort .  Its was just what was described to me on there web page.

Its very disheartening to see such atrocious post about a company that strides for such great customer service.

I will return to purchase more from them as well as refer them to my colleagues, family and friends.

We were informed today that this post was online and I wanted to make sure I at least could somewhat set the record straight. It is sad that people don't get their way about things and decide to get online and post inaccurate and false information about us and our company just to be hateful and harmful to our business.

We have been in business for 8 years and never had any problems with people being vindictive like this. We have an A+ Rating with the Better Business Bureau, are a 9 year powerseller on ebay, and have been selling on Amazon for many years so we try to make sure we have great products at great prices. As with any business there are going to be a few bad apples and they seem to want to get on here and try to make us look terrible and make up some of the most ridiculous things.

In reference to this post, the lady was given the option to return the item and we would have made it right, but she refused to return it and just wanted to force us to give her a refund without receiving the item back which is not part of our procedure. She states that all of our products come without the package and are seconds which is not true. We have about 80% of our products in the original packages and our about us page clearly states that we deal with overstocks, shelf pulls, and some returns. We clearly state the description and condition of each item on every page as well as if it includes the original packaging or not.

If any customers ever have any questions we are always here to help and try to make things as smooth as possible, but sometimes there are those you just can't make happy.
