Taxpayers Negotiation Group Gave these people 2500 and access to inquire about my financial matters, what a scam. Malibu California

I gave Taxpayer Negotiation Group 2500 dollars in 2007 to represent me as tax lawyers for my tax issues. I spoke with a Ms Paula Woods??(fake name I guess). She advised me to speak with a 'Tax' Lawyer named James Stanley in Florida that would be directly handling my case. I signed 'legitamate looking' paperwork and began sending IRS notices by fax to this number in Florida. Nothing drastic happened for for a year with my case until recently when my wages were garnished in February 09. Mysteriously when I tried to send the IRS notices to the Negotiation Group in February, the contact and fax numbers have been disconnected. I had to find out the hard way by contacting the IRS myself (advised by them not to) only to find out that they 'inquired' about my account and that was all for $2500. Beware, this company is Bullsh**, I should have done more research for more legitimate establishments. Lesson learned.
