I have faithfully changed my car's oil every 3000 miles, it has only 32000 miles on it. I had 2 oil changes at this place since moving to FLA last year. Prior to that it was only serviced at the Buick dealership for 2 years. Texaco Lube tried to sell me other things each time,  once I actually believed them and got a "Fuel System Service" for $80 that was supposed to result in better gas mileage.  It certainly never improved that!

I was suspicious of them because of that and because of an small issue with tire pressure and their nonchalantly blowing me off when they put in uneven pressures.... my car has a guage that shows all 4 tire pressures...they tried to tell me that system was inaccurate.  I'd checked it against a tire pressure gauge frequently, they were obviously just not interested in doing a good job.

Today I went to a locally well known and honest garage in Bunnell and asked them to show me the oil they took out.   I was SHOCKED to see it was totally black.  They commented that it looked as though it had not been changed in a long while despite supposed getting it done only 3000 miles ago.  I have never seen such black oil and although I can't prove that the Texaco Lube store faked my oil changes,  it is awfully suspicious!

I have seen what my oil looks like after 3000 miles quite a few times as I asked many times to see it at other facilities. I'm kicking myself for not having checked my dipstick after my Texaco Lube visits.   If you believe that a fairly new car can have jet black oil after 3000 miles,  go there.  If not...find someplace else!

Xpress Lube has been investigated before for doing the same thing to customer vehicles...also for selling services they cant do..so chances are they did not change your oil...someone should put a stop to and shut down this company
