I followed a link from TransUnion credit bureau not thinking credibility would be an issue simply because the credit bureau is well known and respected, their help links must be ok too. My dialogue and eventual electronic contract has become a nightmare. All possible red flags were present but I trusted the agent on one aspect.

I was ok with the terms of the debt management payment terms with the following exception: that I needed the payments to begin at the end of march not the end of February. Kevin reassured me that a tentative date needed to be submitted to activate the process but that anytime within the next week or so I could simply call him back and request the proper date as I had desired. This was obviously because I knew that I would not have the initial $300 to cover the first payment on March 3, 2009. I was told he (Kevin) would be accessible whenever I needed throughout the terms of the 32 month program, and especially for the specific phone call I would be placing to set the proper starting date of the debit payments from my checking account.

With this situation approaching very quickly, I am very worried about what has transpired and hoping I can take some immediate action i.e. close my account. I did electronically sign with a March 3 start date , but is there any recourse with our conversation?? Plears help. Thank you for reading.

kevin fixed situation

AUTHOR: Lero - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, February 27, 2009

Just wanted to report that Kevin and his company quickly acted to resolve my situation and agreed to change the date of my debit withdrawls. Unfortunately the process is pushed little to aggressively whereby changes can only be done on the word of the agent because the actual document gets pushed through first. Nonetheless, Kevin did keep his word and fixed my date.
